Amazing tour with an intelligent, knowledgeable and accommodating tour guide. Andrew from the Happy Tours made our trip to the highlands a very memorable one.
Thank you so much for the great review for Andrew and Happy Tours. We are very happy you had such a memorable day with us and appreciated the great benefit of a knowledgeable guide. Haste ye back
My sister and I toured Scotland in September, 2023 and one of our stops was Inverness. We chose not to rent a car and drive so she picked out this tour and not really knowing about the area we were not disappointed. It was guided by William in a kilt which was a nice touch which also gave you a taste of his clan loyalty. We traveled in a comfortable 8 seater van which made the trip much more intimate. The itinerary was interesting. The view of the Dunrobin Castle from the garden level is unforgettable. At the last stop at the Glenmorangie Distillery we were gathered to taste of wee dram of distilled Scotch (which I passed on) and William (Bill) treated us to some of his wife’s, Mary, homemade shortbread. Such a generous personal gesture❗️
Thank you so much for the great review for Bill. We are delighted you enjoyed the tour to beautiful Dunrobin Castle. Having a local guide makes the experience more memorable and gives you information not readily accessible. Mairi’s shortbread is always a winner 😀 Haste ye back.
Bill, the tour guide, who was a history lecturer, was a treasure! It was an informative, entertaining tour. Loved touring Dunrobin Castle and the whiskey tasting, as well.
Thank you so much for the lovely review for Bill. We love you thought him our own treasure and enjoyed his entertaing and informative tour. The Castle is very beautiful and we hope you enjoyed tasting our local tipple. Haste ye back
The castle was great. Our tour guide Drew was very knowledgeable and personable. He made the drive interesting. He oicked a good place for lunch and directed us to excellent sites.
Thank you Juan for the lovely review for Drew. We love you had an interesting time with him and really enjoyed the fairytale setting of Dunrobin Castle. A local guide's knowledge is a must for the lesser known sites and to really enjoy your day. Haste ye back.
The castle was wonderful, the falcon presentation was so interesting, & Drew was a great tour guide. I didn’t have time to finish the castle viewing or get a pic with the falcon.
Thank you for this nice review for Drew. We are so sorry Teri that you felt the tour was rushed. It is a truly beautiful Castle with the fab Falconry Display. We give you as long as possible within the itinerery of the tour. It's great that you found this stop so interesting. Haste ye back
We could not have asked for a better experience as we traveled to and toured the Dunrobin Castle and Glenmorangie Distillery. The castle was magnificent and was the inspiration for the Disney princess castles. The beautiful grounds provided the perfect environment for a lovely stroll as well as a falconry exhibit. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting at the Glenmorangie Distillery along with commentary and explanation from our guide. We were so fortunate to have had Stewart as our guide. He provided a pleasant, calm, and caring environment while filling our trip with interesting information at every turn. Both trips we’ve taken with Happy Tours were well worth the time.
Thank you Mary for the great review for Stuart. We really love you enjoyed the pleasant, calm and caring environment he created. It's nice to have the additional information on each stop as it just makes everything so much more interesting. Thank you for taking two tours with us, we realy appreciate it.
Bill had a weather of knowledge about the history of the castle and its place in Scottish history. Was also knowledgeable in leading the tour group in the art of whiskey tasting.
Thank you Helen for the lovely review for Bill. We are delighted you enjoyed Bill's knowledge of Dunrobin Castle and learned it's place on Scottish History. Whisky is an acquired taste and with a good guide you should find a tipple to your tastes. Haste ye back
Stuart was a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide! The small intimate group made for a very enjoyable day. A few fantastic highlights made for a relaxing and less hectic day trip while seeing gorgeous sites!
We are so "happy" Mary that you had a wonderful time with Stuart. It's nice to be in a small number and be able to have a few tweaks to the itinerery if possible. A relaxing day can be just what's needed when it's full on site seeing every other day. Haste ye back.
The extraordinarily informative efforts of our guide Stuart. At every stop and along the way we were treated to a wealth of information and unique insights.
Thank you David for a great review for Stuart. We love you really enjoyed your tour in such depth and appreciated all the information Stuart has to give. It's a beautifual part of the Highlands on this tour and it's often overlooked. Haste ye back.
This was a good tour and one I’d recommend. The distillery was interesting but the castle stills the show. Amazing place and the gardens are second to none. The Duke who held the property isn’t the most honorable but what a place! The Falcons show is a must see as well. Craig is a good guide who will watch out for you, a safe driver, shares good knowledge and I heck of a nice guy
Thank you Keith for a great review for Craig. We are so pleased you appreciated the Castle itself as well as the many that are often won over by the Falcon display . It's such a beautiful Castle and the gardens are always immaculate. Haste ye back.
