We had a wonderful time at the Pasta Making Course with Rosa. She was only a 20 minute walk from the Old City. Rosa was bubbly, friendly and makes delicious pasta. She also was very caring taking the time to purchase lactose free cheese and guiding us to make dairy free tortellonies and tiramisu. I highly recommend doing this experience.
The listed meeting place on the via tour app was not the meeting place for our booking. In the chaos of travel, managing family, elders and heat I didn’t notice a third “your event is coming up” email had been sent with the actual meeting place. The morning of I checked Viator and screen shotted our meeting place. Unfortunately was not correct and no hint on there that the information was somewhere else - 40 minute walk away and no cars/Ubers available. After messaging with our specific tour guide/cesarine - she had offered to wait up to an hour for us to be late but would have to adjust what we would make. My elevator parents were so hot/tired/frustrated that they canceled. I fully appreciate the cesarine for offering to wait but traveling 40 minutes in the heat was not possible. Viator should change the way they provide this information or BOOK DIRECT, not through Viator.

This was one of the highlights of our two week trip to Italy. We made the best homemade pasta, yes, but really experienced the Bolognese way of life, and felt like part of the family. You will learn from the very best, and Cesarine is an expert at guiding guests of all ages through the process.
We wanted an authentic Italian cooking lesson, and this exceeded our expectations! The class was very well organized and we learned so much! We made so many different pastas and several sauces.
Lucia was a wonderful host and a very patient instructor! She went above and beyond our expectations! I highly recommend taking her class!
It was simply wonderful, Oriana was a lovely host, and we felt completely at ease. Thank you for this experience, and the pasta course became almost a secondary matter but was simply great ☀️☀️☀️👍
We had the most wonderful experience today with Laura and her son Antonio! They welcomed me, my wife, and our 18 year old daughter into their house for our cooking class. They were so nice and friendly, we immediately felt like we were visiting with family. Laura had everything prepared for the 3 of us to start making the pasta. She explained the 3 different pastas we would be making and then showed us how to make each one. We had a great time chatting with her and her son Antonio. They would give us helpful tips and show us tricks to make the different pastas. Once we made all the pasta, we sat out on the terrace and continued chatting with Antonio while Laura boiled the pasta. She served us 1 pasta at a time and we had wine to go with the meal. After eating all 3 pastas, she brought out a surprise ice cream desert, and then coffee. We loved everything about the experience! My wife said this was her favorite thing we've done so far on our vacation. If you would love to get to experience making handmade pasta in a real Italian's home, nothing fancy, nothing pretentious, just real life, good people, then this is the experience for you. You will be overwhelmed by their hospitality. This is a 10 out of 10 experience for me and my family. I also forgot to mention that the food was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!

We had an amazing experience with Anna Marie, our Cesarine hostess and instructor. She was friendly, witty and very patient with our total unfamiliarity with real Italian pasta and Italian cooking. It was fun, educational,and most of all delicious! The meal, company, and conversation were all very enjoyable. We would highly recommend Cesarine and especially Anna Marie.
