Après avoir été pris en charge au point de rendez-vous choisi, rendez-vous à l'Etna avec nos véhicules (Jeep ou Van) pour commencer la visite. Apprenez tout sur l'Etna, goûtez aux produits locaux de Zafferana Etnea et admirez le coucher de soleil sur un paysage unique lors d'une visite guidée d'une demi-journée. Roulez le long de routes encadrées par une vue imprenable sur les différents cratères dormants. Admirez la magnifique Valle del Bove et visitez une zone d'activité explosive ancienne comme les Hornitos ou une grotte à coulée de lave (Lampe de poche et casque). Vous arriverez à 2000 mètres où vous admirerez une vue imprenable et un coucher de soleil merveilleux.

L'excursion commencera par découvrir de vieilles coulées de lave de basalte, des grottes volcaniques, des bois séculaires et elle se poursuivra avec les goûts et l'odeur de la Sicile. Vous visiterez une zone d’activité explosive ancienne, Hornitos, un demi-volcan et un abri d’État. Le paysage lunaire de « Bove Valley » et le désert de cendres noires feront de votre excursion une journée magnifique. Enfin une dégustation de miel, de vins et de produit typiquement sicilien

We decided to book the Etna tour at the last minute to complete our visit to Catania. We chose Etna&Sea Excursions for their afternoon tour because it seemed the most suitable for us, to get an overview of the volcano without being too demanding in terms of both time and equipment. In fact, it was perfect, well-organized, with various stops including the fascinating visit to a lava cave (helmet and flashlight provided) and the final walk on the Silvestri craters at sunset (even if it was a little cloudy the day we went). The visit was very interesting and fun, thanks to the competence and friendliness of our guide Gaetano, who shared with us his great love for his land and his knowledge of Mount Etna, with very interesting and exhaustive explanations and answers. The other guides who participated in the tour with the other vans (George, Ornella, Raji) were also very prepared and friendly, helping to create a very pleasant atmosphere. Absolutely recommended for those who want to spend an afternoon on Mount Etna and understand a little more about this magical mountain. (Something to cover up with is recommended, the temperature in the cave and at the craters can be quite low.)
We had an incredible sunset tour of Mount Etna! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and watching the sun set over the volcano was an unforgettable experience. A huge thank you to our guide, Andria, who made the tour even more special. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Mount Etna, its history, geology, and the surrounding area, while also being fun, engaging, and easy to be around. He answered all of our questions and made everyone feel welcome throughout the tour. The entire experience was well organized, relaxed, and truly memorable. A suggestive and unique experience where the landscape takes center stage with its scenery. The colors at sunset on Mount Etna are breathtaking. Giorgio, along with the other guides, with their local knowledge, made the tour much more interesting than expected. Highly recommended!!!

We really enjoyed the excursion! The driving time is reasonable, just enough to see different points of interest on Mount Etna: lava flow, the interior of a cave formed by lava, a panoramic view of the Bove Valley, and a small trek (though steep!) through the Silvestri craters, all with the beautiful light of sunset. All of this accompanied by interesting explanations in the language we had contracted (Spanish). The excursion was punctual and as described. The tasting is very brief (not much), but we prefer it that way. You can consider it more like a small break. A highly recommended tour with an excellent guide!
