Île Catalina et paradis de la plongée en apnée de Punta Cana
Description
Nous effectuons une excursion en catamaran à travers des eaux cristallines jusqu'à l'île de Catalina, la région la plus réputée pour la plongée en apnée en République dominicaine. Nous continuerons ensuite sur l’île de Catalina pour profiter d’un bain rafraîchissant et de quelques boissons, tandis que tous ceux qui pratiquent deux types de plongée avec tuba en compagnie d’un instructeur prennent ensuite un délicieux buffet pour le déjeuner à la plage et prenons des cours de salsa et Bachata, tandis que nous prenons également de délicieuses boissons. Une fois fatigué d’être paresseux sur la plage, prenez un équipement de plongée en apnée et admirez le monde sous-marin de Catalina. L'océan, incroyablement clair, et la plage de sable blanc, vous attendent. Détendez-vous sur une chaise longue ou faites de la plongée avec tuba, tout compris pour vous. Vous apprécierez où vous pourrez voir la tradition de notre musique et de nos danses. Dans l´après-midi, nous retournerons en catamaran au port de La Romana pour retourner aux hôtels.

This is a hidden paradise, the snorkelling was fantastic, plenty to see. The day started off a bit unorganised but the staff were super friendly and made it a great day. Word of warning, if you buy pictures make sure you get the CD there and then as we paid but never received it, which was a shame as they were lovely pictures of a great day
We are frequent travelers to Punta Cana and have done many tours. This tour operator is the worse we've ever experienced. They are not equipped to provide this tour. Their life jackets are old and some of them broken so you can't wear them properly. They gave us a 6:30 am pickup time and were about 40 minutes late to pick up us. After we arrive were the speed boat was supposed to pick us up, it wasn't there so we had to wait another 45 minutes for it to arrive, in the sun. The tour is supposed to include 1 hour of snorkeling. We didn't get that service. The operator did not have snorkeling equipment. We had to wait for another company providing another tour to finish their snorkeling to use their equipment. We only got to use it for about 30 minutes because the other tour was leaving and they wanted their equipment back. Not everyone in our tour got to snorkel. This tour is also supposed to include a catamaran which they didn't have. According to them, it wasn't working. We requested a refund for the services they didn't provide (snorkeling and catamaran) and they refused to refund our money stating the services were provided. There are over 10 people who didn't get to snorkel that would say otherwise. There are also 21 people that didn't get a catamaran ride who would also say otherwise. As a group, we paid $1,381.50 for this tour and we were robbed.
