Ensuite, découvrez le légendaire château de Bran, célèbrement lié à Vlad l'Empaleur et Dracula. Votre guide partagera des histoires captivantes sur son histoire et sa tradition. Dégustez une cuisine roumaine traditionnelle dans un restaurant local du village de Bran, à votre demande. La visite se poursuit jusqu'à la pittoresque forteresse de Rasnov, offrant une vue imprenable et un aperçu de son importance historique. Cette visite soigneusement organisée comprend un accès coupe-file, de nombreuses séances de photos et se termine avant 17h, vous laissant des souvenirs inoubliables du riche patrimoine culturel de la Transylvanie.

Notre première destination est la ville touristique de Sinaia, où se trouve le château de Peles. Pour y arriver, nous devons emprunter la vallée de Prahova en laissant derrière nous les élégantes stations de montagne Predeal, Azuga et Busteni, qui attirent en permanence un grand nombre de touristes roumains et étrangers sur la route qui traverse le fleuve tourbillonnant Prahova. Une beauté naturelle à couper le souffle s’ouvre devant vos yeux, mais la vue la plus spectaculaire est celle de Busteni, où vous pourrez admirer les plus hauts sommets des monts Bucegi: le pic Caraiman, le pic Costila et le pic Omu. Arrivée à Sinaia, ancienne station balnéaire aristocratique exclusive, où nous visitons le château de Peles, résidence d'été de l'ancienne famille royale roumaine. Le château de Peles est l’un des plus beaux musées de Roumanie et a été construit en presque 40 ans par le roi Charles 1.

Arrivée à Sinaia, autrefois une station balnéaire aristocratique exclusive, où nous visitons le château de Peles, la résidence d'été de l'ancienne famille royale roumaine. Le château de Peles est l'un des plus beaux musées de Roumanie et a été construit en près de 40 ans par le roi Charles 1.
Sur le chemin du château de Bran, vous trouverez l'un des plus anciens monastères du pays, le monastère de Sinaia. Avec une histoire qui remonte à 300 ans, marquée par une relation privilégiée avec la famille royale, ce vénérable monastère est une attraction incontournable grâce à ses deux églises construites à 150 ans d'intervalle.
Nous continuons notre voyage jusqu'au célèbre château de Bran. Pour y arriver, nous devons traverser la vallée de Prahova, laissant derrière nous les élégantes stations de montagne Predeal, Azuga et Busteni qui attirent continuellement un grand nombre de touristes roumains et étrangers, sur la route qui traverse la tourbillonnante rivière Prahova. Une beauté naturelle époustouflante s'ouvre devant vos yeux mais la vue la plus spectaculaire est depuis Busteni où vous pourrez admirer les plus hauts sommets des montagnes Bucegi: Pic Caraiman, pic Costila et pic Omu. Également appelé château de Dracula, il est situé à l'entrée du col Bran-Rucar. Architectural remarquable, le monument a été construit entre 1377-1382 sur un rocher de 60 m. Après la visite du château de Bran, rendez-vous dans un restaurant local pour déjeuner de salades fraîches, soupes traditionnelles, délicieux sarmale, viande, poulet, légumes et autres plats régionaux (boissons et repas à vos frais). Le déjeuner traditionnel peut être organisé dans le village de Bran.
Visitez la forteresse de Rasnov, qui a été construite au XIIIe siècle, pourrait être la plus enchanteresse de toutes! La forteresse est la plus grande de Transylvanie et l'une des mieux préservées de Roumanie. Magnifique panorama sur la terre de Barsa depuis le sommet de la forteresse.

Alina was such a fantastic guide for us. She really knew her stuff and was totally engaging telling us all about the history of the places we went to plus about her own experiences of growing up in Romania during pivotal times in the country's recent history. We got held up in traffic for a large part of the day but she made sure we still saw and enjoyed all parts of the tour. Would highly recommend. There may be some tickets that you require on top of the tour booking so do check this as soon as you are able as they may sell out during peak times of the year.

Excellent day with an excellent guide. Marius was very informative and accommodating. We learned so much from the day and had excellent food too thanks to Marius. Would highly recommend this activity. Visiting these places would not be the same experience without the local guides to give the history. We also received history and information on local buildings and areas on route to these castles/fortress.

Bogdon was a great guide — he’s very informative and has a good sense of humor. He also was flexible and gave good suggestions when it came to having some free time to ourselves and avoiding crowded times at the tourist sites. We were fortunate to have him as our guide and that we ended up being the only two people in what would’ve otherwise been a small group, so it felt like a private tour. Râşnov Fortress is still undergoing renovations at the time, so we were not able to explore the inside.

I highly recommend this tour. Not only do you see several castles and a monastery but you do it with a guide who knows the best parking areas, has an excellent understanding of the history of the area and speaks English extremely well.
