This was a very nice experience. The guides were very friendly, knowledgeable, and safe. Our small group was perfect and gave everyone enough space to snorkel. One guide stayed near the family with a boy about 9 years old—the boy was a bit hesitant, but ended up loving it! The area was beautiful, and we would go again!
Amazing experience highly recommend while in Saipan! Arman and Randy were our tour guides and were great! Super nice, thoughtful, and made sure we were safe swimming in the grotto since the current can get strong. They took lots of great photos and videos, and we got to enjoy them after the trip - we watched a little movie of all the photos/videos they took with some freshly popped popcorn. After the grotto, we got to visit Banzai Cliff and Bird Island. Wonderful experience, definitely will do again next time I visit Saipan!
Fabulous guides from Marianas trekking and absolutely worth going with them. They make the experience so much better and that’s saying a lot. The grotto is a fantastic thing to do in n Saipan. The guides give you a safety video to start off with and provide the gear you need and then drive you down to the grotto. In the grotto, they help you down and into the water and take fantastic pictures and videos of your time there so you don’t need to worry about doing that yourself. The guides took us to several other sites afterwards, such as suicide cliff and banzai cliff as well as Bird Island Lookout point. After that we went back to the starting point where we saw the pictures and videos they took with some popcorn, which they then downloaded for a small price on my phone and printed one medium size picture as a keepsakes. Highly recommend. 10 out of 10 10 out of 10. Thank you Randy and colleague!

It was such a beautiful place. I'm glad I went. The guides also spoke Japanese and were very happy to be taken to Banzai Cliff and Bird Island in the end. At the end of the day, iPhone users received photos and videos from Blue Cave for 30$.
Very well looked after by Armand. who was friendly and took some great photos for me as a souvenir. The grotto itself is good fun, and certainly worth a visit. It was a little crowded so I'd recommend going early. Armand certainly gave me the space to make the most of my visit while keeping a close eye on me. Recommended
My partner and I had a great time with Marianas trekking at the grotto. I felt very safe getting in the water over the rocks with them & we had such a fun time. Very knowledgeable and flexible. They took some great pictures of us underwater that we will treasure. Highly recommend!
What a fabulous experience we had on the half-day snorkeling tour of the Blue Grotto in the capable hands of Marianas Trekking. We were a group of seven who especially appreciated the care and bonhomie from five of their crew. Jojo, via email in planning, was excellent, wisely recommending the afternoon tour as it was often less crowded, and we'd have the grotto to ourselves on this day, John blew amazing underwater bubbles for great photos, drove us around, and shared interesting bits of his life. Leo was super helpful, and Sandy too, being principal photographer/videographer. Arman helped with tech and dropped us at the ship. Everyone was simply wonderful to be with, as seems true throughout Saipan. Even the owner, Chris, took time to give us a trio of tips for our visit. The Blue Grotto is a fabulous and unique place, which I hope you too can experience. The trio of other stops at Bird Island, the Last Command Post, and Banzai Cliff were also good, adding history and culture to our tour. Lastly, big kudos to the well done theater experience, complete with popcorn, to view the photos and videos from the tour. We have superb memories, thanks to you all.
Both of our guides were very patient with us and incredibly knowledgeable about the island. The Grotto was absolutely beautiful. The steps to and from the Grotto were scary but doable if you take your time.
