Visite privée à pied du baroque Noto

Description

The Baroque Noto Walking Tour was a truly wonderful experience. We’d already spent a few days in Noto and thought we were getting to know the place. How wrong we were. Our extremely knowledgeable guide, Tommaso, provided us with a wealth of fascinating insights - historical, artistic, architectural, geographical and personal. And all of this information was shared with us in a warm and friendly manner. We now feel that we know this amazing town so much better and are looking forward to finding out even more about this Sicilian jewel. Highly recommended.
Thank you for sharing your experience! We are delighted to hear that Tommaso made your visit to Noto so informative and pleasant. Your high recommendation means a lot to us and to him!
Both our guides were very knowledgeable and answered our questions as well as giving us a full understanding of the area and what had happened over the centuries. Our guides also had personally and easy to be with. Thank you to Tommas and Johanna
Very good tour of Noto, hitting the highlights, getting granita and cannolo at the Cafe Sicilia where they were invented.would definitely do it again
Need to speak better English and have deeper knowledge of the the history and the current info about the city of Noto.
My wife and I had a lovely couple hours with Giovanna and Tommaso. We were fortunate to have our own private tour with them and saw and learned about many of the main Noto center attractions. They were highly knowledgeable and extremely passionate and enthusiastic about the Baroque architecture, history and culture of Noto, and even broader Sicily. Make sure you take the 80-stair climb to the top of the bell tower at San Carlo for a beautiful 360 degree view of the area. It won’t disappoint for only 3 euros per person!
Historical tour of Notos baroque buildings. Eva, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and very sweet.
The Baroque of Noto is perhaps the most important in Italy and perhaps in Europe. The city of Noto is to be seen if you come to visit Sicily, the eastern part of Sicily. Walking through the course, you will meet Santa Chiara (of Assisi) in Baroque style, very beautiful and I recommend climbing up to the terrace (costs a few euros) from where you can admire the city of Noto from above. The other churches to see are the Cathedral of Noto (renovated after the earthquake of 1990 and 1996 for a constructive defect in the nave) then S. Domenico (baroque) and its crypt (costs a few euros to see it) then S. Carlo Borromeo (also here you can climb on the terrace (with a few euros). The church of S. Salvatore is also wonderful, perhaps the most beautiful. Then the Palazzo Ducezio is very nice from the outside but it is not open unfortunately. Also beautiful is the Municipal Theatre, Palazzo Nicolaci and others. Do not miss Noto absolutely.
The city of Noto is beautiful, adding more words would be superfluous. Recommendation to everyone a holiday here. You will be amazed by the hospitality, the beauty of the city and the kindness of the Sicilians.
Very interesting tour. Eva was terrific. Noto is beautiful! Could have probably done the tour with a guidebook and saved some money.
Our guide Eva was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting stories about this interesting town.
