Our guide Mel is a local from Hong Kong and showed a deep knowledge of all aspects of history and culture. He took us on a well thought out and well paced tour that covered some significant historical areas and very interesting food stops that we would never have ventured to by ourselves. He gave us a good overview of the public transport system and helped us set up our MTR card. He also gave us some good tips on the itinerary for the rest of our stay. All in all it was a decision we were very glad we made.
Rich took us on a fast pace tour of Hong Kong that included most of the places we asked to see before we met. From Kowloon, we took the MTR to the Tsim Sha Tsui Harbor Front where Rich explained the influence of Feng Shui on the buildings in the financial center of Hong Kong Island before boarding the Star Ferry. On Hong Kong island we visited Victoria Peak and then ate lunch at a very authentic Dim Sum restaurant where Rich introduced us to dim sum we never had before. Afterwards, Rich took us to the Wong Tai Sin temple where he explained the significance of the rituals of the temple and statues. In addition to the Star Ferry, we traveled by train, taxi, tram and bus, maximizing our time. Along the way, Rich enthusiastically explained the history and culture of Hong Kong. I highly recommend this tour if you are looking for a personalized experience with someone with deep knowledge of HK who can highlight sights of particular interest to you and maximize your visit.

Awesome knowledgeable guide. Great insiders tips...and a fabulous intro to HK

Our guide Katie, arrived at our hotel promptly at 9am. She is a friendly and extremely knowledgeable guide. Our group of 6 friends walked the streets of Kowloon & HK Island, travelled on the peak tram, a star ferry, a taxi, a regular tram, the subway and an amazing escalator system. It's a full on tour, easy paced but with lots of walking and stairs. As we wended our way around the place, Katie gave us so much info on the history of HK, in an easy to understand way. This tour does require a reasonable level of fitness, so I suggest you check with the guide for more info. I'm sure sure you will find Katie lovely.
Rich gave us a great short tour of Hong Kong. It was tailored to our particular likes and was well planned and paced to show the contrasts of the city - from busy bustling city stops to quieter temples and gardens. Rich's knowledge of the city was great and it allowed us to see a really diverse range of sights in Hong Kong in a very short time. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
Nathan took the four of us on a comprehensive tour of Hong Kong including many things from our prebooking questionnaire. We met him at the railway station after travelling in from the airport. He suggested we catch taxis to the summit of Victoria Peak and the ride was quite an experience to say the least. After a short stroll along the walking trail we took some beautiful shots out over Hong Kong and surrounds. The views were so much better than the usual "tourist" spot. We then caught the tram down Victoria Peak and when we got to the bottom with the massive line up of people we knew that Nathan knew this town well. We walked through the business district with Nathan telling us many interesting things with regard to history, the architecture and cultural aspects such as feng shui. We took the ferry across to Tsim Sha Tsui and sampled egg tart which is a local favourite. We visited the Clock Tower/Old Railway Station and also The Peninsula where we were told the history including the Battle of Hong Kong and Japanese occupation. In contrast, we also visited Chungking Mansions where the suitcase entrepreneurs abound. On to Tin Hau Temple where Nathan explained the significance of the incense, prayers and readings. It was all very interesting. A trip to the Jade and Pearl market to pick up a couple of souvenirs to take home and then over to Sheung Wan to visit the Knead sandwich shop which catered for gluten free bread. Nathan then arranged for a taxi to take us back to the Airport train station to take us back for our flight. Nathan is a great tour guide and as we had a 12 hour stopover it was a wonderful way of experiencing Hong Kong and surrounds. We used all forms of public transport and walked to a lot of areas. I am not the fittest of people but I kept up the pace. A comfortable pair of walking shoes is a good idea and definitely take a camera as there are so many photo opportunities when you are walking around. I love the way they ask you what you want to see and work the tour around your interests. I would gladly do it again if I ever find myself in Hong Kong in the future.

I would like to sincerly complement our guide, Nick.
He was absolutely wonderful, extremely knowledgable and really understood how to show us the best of Hong Kong!!!!

Rich took us to all the highlights of Hong Kong and demonstrated the vitality of the city. We found his service to be invaluable to our first experience in Hong Kong.

Our guide met us at our Hotel. She spent a few minutes talking with us about what our interests were. Then we had a wonderful tour that included street markets, a temple, notable buildings, Victoria Peak and lunch. Throughout we learned a lot about both historical and contemporary Hong Kong. I appreciated our guide taught us how to get around on public transportation. Highly recommended.
