Apetahi day trip around Raiatea on a modern outrigger canoe

À bord de Blue Lagoon, pirogue moderne et confortable, profitez du trampoline au-dessus du lagon pour une excursion "Apetahi" à la journée autour de l’île de Raiatea. Ce tour vous emmène hors des sentiers battus, au rythme de la navigation, à la découverte de paysages authentiques entre lagon et océan, avec la possibilité d’observer des dauphins selon les conditions. Faites escale au jardin de corail de Nao Nao pour une session de snorkeling dans des eaux claires et préservées, puis découvrez le Marae de Taputapuatea, site majeur classé au patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO. La journée se poursuit par une navigation paisible dans la baie de Faaroa et, si le temps le permet, le long de la seule rivière navigable de Polynésie française, au cœur d’une végétation luxuriante.

En route par la côte Ouest de Raiatea ! Pendant notre trajet, les possibilités de découvertes sont nombreuses et se font au gré des opportunités avec notre guide expérimenté. En effet, le lagon turquoise ou grand bleu sont autant de terrains de jeu et offrent souvent des ballets majestueux de dauphins. Vous en prendrez plein les yeux ! Cap au Sud ! Naviguez le long de la commune de Tevaitoa dont la particularité est de posséder des baies sauvages ponctuées de plusieurs falaises verdoyantes et cascades.
Escale sur un motu paradisiaque au sud de l'île. Là, se trouve un véritable jardin de corail préservé de la foule. Un magnifique snorkeling vous attend entre les patates de corail et poissons multicolores.
Visite du célèbre Marae de Taputapuatea, site archéologique exceptionnel classé en 2017 au patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO. Découvrez une atmosphère incomparable dans le plus grand respect de ce lieu sacré.
Découverte du paysage amazonien de la baie de Faaroa. Si la météo le permet, vous pourrez vous enfoncer dans les terres le long de sa rivière.

Prepare to spend the best day with the best guide. Our guide was exceptionally kind not only to our group, but to the ocean and land as well. He emphasized how tours typically sell based off of whether or not you will see sting rays, sharks, turtles or dolphins and how that is what is wrong with the tourism industry. Our guides knowledge of the ocean and land was impeccable which led to the perfect day and real true encounters with wildlife that were not staged or rehearsed. You will not regret booking this excursion.

Very fun day circumnavigating the island on a comfortable outrigger. Chased two different pods of dolphins before stopping to snorkel. Lunch on a beach before stopping at a Marae, then a long ride up the river with an Amazon feel to it. Wonderful day and great guide.
We had some very heavy rain during our trip but the boat captain, Fab, made the best of the situation. The boat was fairly comfortable and we enjoyed the snorkeling and a short trip of the river. There was a stop at an archaeological site but it was hard to learn very much about it from the signs. Lunch was at a small and very charming beachside restaurant. The food was very good.
Well put together around the island hitting the best spots. UNESCO Archeological site, cruise up the river,Snorkeling and a fantastic lunch at a quaint beachfront resort. Saw spinner dolphins put on a fantastic show. Highly recommend this tour.
Amazing day! Highly recommend booking. Had a bit of everything! Saw dolphins, 2 very private snorkeling sites with lots of fish, learned history of the island and had a great lunch. Couldn’t ask for anything more
An amazing day with the owner, Jimmy. Born in Raiatea as his family moved from France. Great English to describe unique things about the island and culture. Our tour was over 7 hours from the cruise ship. Very easy to find the boat. After viewing spinner dolphins off to a secluded island for snorkeling and water time. Then off to lunch at a very nice boutique resort. More time for swimming and snorkeling, then to an archaeological site of a Marae. A Polynesian religious site. The boat is clean. And holds about 14 guests. Lots of fresh fruit and beverages. Highly recommend this tour! Bruce and Caryn

I can’t believe how amazing this tour was , our guide was the most polite and informative fellow. This tour was one of the best we have ever done it started perfectly and just kept getting better , lunch was in a gorgeous location , the boat is luxurious and easy to move around Raiatea has my heart ❤️ it’s a beautiful location!
