Description

Accompagnés d'un guide officiel, nous découvrirons Grenade et l'Alhambra, un ensemble monumental chargé d'histoire et de légendes. Nous visiterons des lieux emblématiques tels que le Generalife, résidence d'été des sultans, et l'Alcazaba, zone militaire de la citadelle. Au terme de cette descente vers la ville, nous passerons par la Porte de Justice, en suivant l'ancien accès médiéval. Nous poursuivrons notre visite par la Plaza Nueva, où nous verrons la Chancellerie Royale et l'église Santa Ana. Read the details!!

Very disappointing partly of our own making. The tour was not what we expected and did not include entry into the palaces. We also forgot our passports, which delayed our entry and most of the time with the tour guide.

However, we would like to clarify that the activity booked was the Alhambra tour including the Gardens, the Alcazaba, and the Generalife. The activity description clearly states that access to the Nasrid Palaces is not included in this tour option. In addition, Alhambra regulations require visitors to present the original passport or identification document used when making the reservation. This requirement is also clearly detailed in the information provided prior to the tour, as access may be delayed or even denied without the required documentation. We understand the disappointment that such a situation may cause. However, the issues mentioned in your review were clearly communicated in advance and were not related to the organization or operation of the tour itself. Operator Cancelled the Day Before without Reason

We were disappointed that the tour operator cancelled the tour without reason the day before our visit. We planned our entire vacation around this experience - all other options were sold out by the time they informed us of this cancellation. I have never seen anything like this. Highly unprofessional - do not risk your experience with this tour operator.

Outstanding Visit - poor instructions from Tripadvisor

Our visit to the Alhambra was a once in a lifetime experience - the tour guide was exceptional. This is a must do when you visit Granada, However. The trip advisor website is a major let down. Our booking description was changed leaving us uncertain what we were walking into - PASSPORTS; at no point in the description or the conformation email was the importance of carrying our passport explained - the arrival departure information is also to vague !! NOT Good Tripadvisor !!

Great tour!

The tour was amazing, and Juan was a great guide. The group was small, and we were taken through the entire palace and gardens, and the explanations were interesting. Highly recommend this tour!

Don’t book this tour

If I could give this zero stars I would. First off, they advertised and sold a tour that included the Nasrid palace and it was supposed to start at 11am. The tour operator unilaterally changed the time to 9am without any notice. Then Viator reached out to ask if we changed the time, which we didn’t, but we adjusted our plans because there was no way we were going to get another tour last minute. Then, in the fine print of an email I received one day before the tour, they said the tour did not include Nasrid Palace - which is the main attraction. They did not clarify what had changed and made it seem like it was just the time. Then they said, again last minute, that the tour was going to start at 11am but the Viator voucher was still for 9am. So I reached out to Viator and told them that the time discrepancy was an issue - do we arrive at the meeting spot at 9am and hope the tour is running or miss 9am and arrive at 11am and find out that it was 9am. I didn’t trust the tour operator. So the night before, I asked for a refund and the tour operator got back to be at 10:30am the next day and refused. And guess what… the 9am tour advertised on visitor and on my voucher never took place! So beware that if you book this company, good luck getting what you booked and good luck getting the correct time. The tour company completely blamed Viator for listing the wrong tour and time. I am not sure who made what mistake but I do know that we did not take this tour, it didn’t operate at 9am and we still had to pay for it.

Ultimately, in order to avoid further inconvenience to customers, the tour took place at 11:00 AM. This issue originated entirely from Viator’s system, and as the local operator, we had to manage and resolve a situation that was not under our control, which also involved a significant additional workload on our side. Regarding the tour content, we would like to emphasize that this is the Alhambra (Gardens, Alcazaba and Generalife) tour, as clearly stated in the product name and inclusions. The mention of the Nasrid Palaces in the description refers to the Alhambra complex as a whole, but it does not imply that access to them is included in this specific tour. We regret if the information may have caused any confusion at any point. Tour knowledge was poor but the historic places made up for it!

I expected the tour to be more informative; corrective terms & historical knowledge a little more on point but sadly it only hit a few good points, was a bit repetitive. I totally understand it wasn’t the guides first language but I’ve been on other tours with Spanish guides who made you feel amazed and wowed by history these places held in shorter time frames, historic knowledge was on point and in depth. I’m an avid history nerd, so I was pretty underwhelmed by this delivery but Alhambra is just wow! Spain is extremely lucky to have all of this!

A 10

I made the excursion together with my mother, grandmother and daughter, on 28/03/26. Our guide was Jorge, and I don't know if we could have had a better one. Apart from a very good professional, he was close, attentive, fun and very mindful of including my daughter (10 years old) in the theme of the visit, and also took into account my grandmother (84 years old) pausing and looking for a place where she could sit for a few minutes while explaining everything with great energy. We give it a 10. Thank you so much!!

The best tour

Jorge's been a guide to 10. He has been explaining everything with a touch of humor that left no one uninterested in the tour, making it more enjoyable and entertaining. Super recommended, it's great!!

Humor, viewpoints and some history

Jorge Toca guided us through the gardens and reached... his way of turning the story around, nurturing the curiosity of viewers and going off script has been all we needed to make the visit last longer in our memory.
