Aucune visite à Grenade n'est complète sans explorer le centre historique de la ville à pied et en calèche classique. Au cours de cette visite, vous découvrirez des sites clés, notamment le couvent de San Francisco, fondé en 1529, et l'église La Merced où vous pourrez grimper au clocher et profiter de vues spectaculaires sur la ville, le lac Nicaragua et le volcan Mombacho. Le dernier arrêt est le plus ancien secteur de la ville, la zone autour de l'église Xalteva et les vieux murs de la ville

Enjoyed the horse-drawn carriage ride. Oscar was knowledgable and the tour was well paced. The views from the bell tower were spectacular.

We started the tour with a horse carriage ride to the old train station to see an old locomotive. Then the carriage took us to a few other parts of the city, including the old Spanish fort, a cemetery, a couple of churches, finally bringing us to the San Francisco Convent Museum. The highlights of the trip included climbing a bell tower with a great view of the city, and the museum - lots of history across many different exhibits.
I spent 3-4 days with Gustavo Guevara, a National Tour Guide for Nicaragua. He was INCREDIBLE!!! Extremely knowledgeable about Granada, Managua, Lake Nicaragua, Masaya & Mombacho, Nicaraguan history, and more! He speaks excellent English and held my hand thru many steps of my trip. He communicates VERY well on WhatsApp. I recommend using him whenever you come to Nicaragua. I wish I could give him 6 stars!
