Este es un recorrido de medio día por la plantación Whitney y un recorrido por el pantano de Louisiana en un hidrodeslizador de 16 a 20 pasajeros a través de los pantanos y pantanos del sureste de Louisiana.

We really enjoyed this tour and thought the combination of the Whitney Plantation and the airboat experience made for a fantastic day. The Whitney Plantation was incredibly interesting, moving, and educational. We appreciated that the experience focused on the lives and stories of the enslaved people who lived and worked there, which gave us a much deeper understanding of the history. It was very well done and definitely worth visiting. The airboat tour was a completely different experience and so much fun! It was a great way to get out into the Louisiana wetlands, see the scenery and wildlife, and end the day on a more adventurous note. We loved having both experiences combined into one tour. Educational, memorable, and fun—definitely one of the highlights of our trip and something we would recommend!
Recently I did this tour my BDay wknd & honestly I enjoyed it! From the driver to the ppl @ the tour sites. If you’re coming in the Summer months I would definitely recommend you bring a fan, stay hydrated & wear sunscreen it does get a hot walking around the Plantation. The Swamp tour wasn’t too bad because once you board the boat you do get a lil breeze from rowing around. All in all I enjoyed both experiences. 10/10 The Plantation 10/10 was very informative & just to be able to experience it I loved it. The audio was good & explains a lot of history of the Plantation & displays. The swamp also a 10/10 the boat driver was very polite, had humor & gave us a lot of information about the gators in LA. Which we were able to see many of them. My FaV was Clobber & Ray!
Our tour guide was excellent. As we traveled to the plantation, he not only shared info about it and slave practices in general, but also on Hurricane Katrina. As a native of New Orleans, he had an excellent perspective on the city. He was a knowledgeable historian ac well.
Pick up and drop off were on time. The driver was great, he gave us so much local history. The self guided plantation visit was laid out exquisitely. The grounds were well kept and the information well explained. Visiting the plantation was very touching.
Tour was amazing! The plantation tour was educational and informative. The praline stop was incredible. The airboat tour was amazing. Getting to see gators up close in the wild was awesome. Highly recommend!
Whitney Plantation is a moving experience. Let yourself go back to this time as the audio takes you through the history. Take time to read the signs and plaques. Imaging what was felt & experienced during this time saddened me. I think this was one of my top experiences in NOLA. I originally booked our airboat tour separately with abother company highly recommended - but then wanted to add the Plantation so this tour made better sense, economically too!! Our airboat guide Mike was awesome at Rajin Cajun. And our bus driver felt like a favorite Aunt - pointing sites out along the way - loved her. Name began with M I think (shame on me for bot being able to give her a proper shout out!)

A lot of history of the slaves and their lives. Sad, but we need to know our history! Our business driver was so wonderful. He even dropped us off near our hotel. Our airboat ride was exceptional, too! This is an excellent tour to book!

Plantation was interesting, educational and humbling. So very sad to see the history of the treatment the slaves, even children, endured. The air boat was also cool, our guide was great! We had 2 awesome bus drivers, one was in training. They were informative, polite and very nice gentlemen.
