Once we meet up with our guide she did a great job knowing about the art as well as the history to go along with the art.
My tour guide was punctual and incredibly knowledgeable—it often felt like I was taking part in a history lesson with a friend. He was warm, engaging, and appropriately funny, which made the experience enjoyable and comfortable. This was my first time booking a private guide as a solo traveler, and it was absolutely worth it. I highly recommend this company and especially this guide (sorry I forgot his name).
Boraz was wonderful. He navigated the museum swiftly and attended to our interests, etc. We were able to see all the highlights of the museum and he gave us tips along the way beside the art history/landmark overview.
Our guide, whose name was Boris was fantastic. He had tremendous knowledge of the entire museum and all the different kinds of exhibits that were there. Personally, I can’t see how you could successfully navigate the Louvre without someone like this and their experience. It’s a massive place that you could easily spend days at and if you only have a few hours or a day, having the experience of someone like Boris will change the way you look at the art. Don’t let the price intimidate you. Save your money somewhere else and spend it on this. It’s worthwhile.
By far, this private guided tour was one of the best decisions we made to see the major sites during our trip to Paris. The Louvre is huge, with miles of galleries, walks, exhibits and displays. The lines to enter are long, even with pre-purchased times-access tickets - you and every other of the other 2000 visitors for your time slot will be entering at the same time, along with those waiting to see if they can buy tickets. The doubly-effective solution is this private, guided tour with professional guide Boris. Boris met us at the entrance, and within minutes using his “guide magic,” we were inside the Louvre, with Boris leading us to the art and antiquities based on briefly interviewing us on what we hoped to see. Boris spent two hours with us, guiding us through the halls and exhibitions, and getting us oriented. We are able to continue after the formal tour on our own having been given his deep guidance as to how to get around the museum. If you value your time and would like to maximize your visit, book this tour!! You will not be disappointed.
It was a great tour that passed all the lines and really break down the concepts and purposes of the musuem as well as all the amazing pieces of artwork we could see and the guide provided additional context that makes you understand it on deeper levels.
Tina was a wonderful guide. She was early to the meeting point and easy to find. Her knowledge and passion about art and history was inspiring. She did tailor the tour to our interests, which was perfect. We got to see everything wanted to see, and then some. I highly recommend the tour and Tina!
Our private guided tour of the Louvre Museum with Boris Petrović was a highlight of our trip to Paris. Boris’s deep understanding of the museum’s vast collection and his passion for sharing his knowledge made the tour an extraordinary experience. His insights into the masterpieces and their historical contexts were both profound and accessible. Boris spent a significant amount of time explaining how various parts of the museum reflect the culture of different periods, such as the Roman and Egyptian eras. His engaging explanations helped us understand how these artifacts and artworks provide a window into the lives, beliefs, and customs of those times. From the grandeur of the Roman sculptures to the intricate details of Egyptian artifacts, Boris’s storytelling made the history behind these masterpieces come alive. Navigating the Louvre can be overwhelming, but Boris’s expertise ensured that we saw the most significant works without feeling rushed. He particularly focused on pieces with rich historical significance, such as *The Coronation of Napoleon*, providing us with in-depth insights into the historical and cultural context of these works. His charismatic personality and dedication to making the tour enjoyable and educational for all ages were evident. Our family, particularly our 10-year old son, was particularly fascinated by Boris’s engaging explanations. My wife and I were equally impressed by his professionalism and charm. We cannot recommend this tour enough to anyone visiting Paris.
Excellent guide very knowledgeable and worth your time. We recommend to touring beyond the tour as there is so much to see
Our guide was excellent, well informed and able to show us the highlights of this immense museum. If we had tried to do this on our own, we would have been lost
