super well organised and effective tour guide. A local french art scholar who has imense knowledge on the entire museam and history of its items. Also interactive and good sense of humor while making friendly jests. And above all, allows for a rapid and complete visit of the museam.

Our family of 5 from USA (including kids 12-18 years) did the Louvre tour with Babylon Tours. Our tour guide Francois V did an excellent job of showing us the highlights of the museum during our 2 hour+ tour. He kept the kids and adults engaged throughout. He’s funny and shared many interesting facts and anecdotes and historical tidbits about the various artifacts we saw. He met us at the allocated place and time and waited patiently for 2 members of our family who were held up in traffic. He asked us about our interests prior to the start of the tour and made sure we saw those sections of the museum. He peppered the kids with questions and took care that they were engaged and enjoying the tour and not just being smothered with historical data. He gave us pointers on how to see Mona Lisa up close even with the huge crowds out there. We all had an enjoyable time and would recommend Babylon Tours and Francois for a fun and informative tour of the Louvre Museum.

Miriam was wonderful! She asked us if there were any areas of specific interest we had in the Louvre and then she spent the first half of our tour immersing us in those areas. I think she must know every inch of that place. She cleverly tied different art pieces together expanding out knowledge and of which we’d never figure out on our own. We could zoom through the place because she knew the best ways to get there and tucked away elevators that made the tour very efficient. She also knew the best places to stand to get the best shots and angles for photos. She was also a very lovely person, calm, polite, efficient, and professional. She clearly has a genuine love for art. Our family of four, with young adult kids, all enjoyed what we learned from her. Thank you!

We toured the Louvre with Miriam and had the most amazing time. Miriam was incredibly knowledgeable and was extremely skillful in combining facts with stories that made the entire experience so engaging. She repeatedly asked if there was any area we particularly wanted to visit which, after finishing the tour, made us all dumbfounded that she was capable of educating us in any area of the Louvre! I imagine she could do the same at most museums. Miriam was also very attentive to the group needs, often spotting one of us lingering on a piece and then offering a story or explanation of the work. She was clearly adept at navigating this vast museum, and we repeatedly seemed to find pockets of quiet and expedited corridors to maneuver on a very busy day. I cannot recommend Miriam as a guide any more highly. I would recommend either the guide or the visitor clarify how to find one another. The only issue we faced was finding each other, because even at the statue there were multiple tours collecting one another. I would typically baulk at the cost and plan to tour myself. Upon reflection, Miriam's guidance was priceless. Visiting the Louvre is overwhelming and my family all found the length of the visit was just right (especially on a busy day in a heat wave), and to have Miriam efficiently direct us through this vast building with engaging stories for us all along, was worth the cost. We all want to come back another time and have Miriam once again time travel with us from Egypt to the renascence. Wonderful!

Thomas was wonderful. His knowledge of the Louvre and its history was remarkable. While so educational - it was never boring thanks to Thomas’s side stories. Highly Recommend!

The experience was more than we could have imagined. Our guide Cecile did so much more than just she is from one exhibit to the next. She showed us an entire road trip of the renaissance and how the works developed from simply being messages to the more developed works of art that later came. I am not knowledgeable in art. Really only had a passing interest. To be honest though she made me look at it all in an amazing light and has now sparked a genuine interest. I plan to delve into research now as I really want to learn more. Thank you Cecile, you may have given me a new hobby I didn't even know I was looking for.

Veronica was an excellent tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, personable, and very patient with my family with children (who didn’t feel great in the very crowded museum with minimal air conditioning). I would highly recommend.

We loved our tour. Sergio‘s knowledge and passion for art and history was amazing! He is definitely an expert on navigating through such a vast museum. We enjoyed every of it and I learned so much on the tour.
