I wanted to love this tour but it was extremely draining. Our tour guide (I won't mention her name) was a bit hard to understand and we felt she stayed in front of each "talking point" waaay too long. And because of this, we left 1/2 way through. Made our way to the Mona Lisa and then departed. If I was to do it again, I would simply buy our tickets and see what we're interested in by ourselves. Maybe if you're someone that wants a "ton" of details, then this tour would be for you.
Saw all highlights and skipped many entrance lines. The Louve was very busy so this private tour helped navigate the enormous area.
Florence was a great tour guide, great knowledge of all the art in the Louvre as well as the History! Definitely the most efficient way to go to a big museum like this. Loved all the stories behind the paintings that otherwise we wouldn’t have known. Lively personality helped too. Would recommend!
I was worried about wait lines at 11:45 time stamp, barely any waiting. Tour guide was very informative and fun.
Our guide was fantastic. She provided detailed descriptions of each art piece in English. She tailored the experience to our priorities.
Anais was wonderful! Not only is she knowledgeable in art history and the Louvre, she did a very good job explaining the pieces and answering any questions the group had. She was very friendly and well organized as well. Hopefully, you will have her as your guide!
Very good tour. Extremely knowledgeable and was very interesting. We both enjoyed the tour very much!
This was our first time to louvre and our tour guide was nice but could not get the headphones working. They only worked for the first 20 minutes or so, and then after that, they wouldn’t work at all. So we couldn’t hear her. She tried to talk and a loud voice for our group which was about 19 people, but cannot hear her. We ended up leaving about 40 minutes early Before the tour ended. So disappointed. The Louvre most amazing, but I would not recommend this tour to a friend if you cannot hear through the headphones set
Hi Marcie_W, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed your visit to the Louvre and found your guide friendly and engaging. At the same time, we're very sorry to learn about the issues with the audio equipment during your tour. The headsets are an important part of the experience, especially in a busy museum environment. We appreciate your recognition of your guide's efforts to continue the tour despite the technical difficulties. However, we fully understand that this was not the experience you expected. Please reach out with your booking reference directly to us so we can investigate your case further. I wish you a lovely stay in Paris.
Wonderful experience! I have never had a tour guide as knowledgeable of paintings and as kind and relatable to all age groups as Mauro. Please tip guide when earpieces are collected as we didn’t realize that he would not be attending our wine tasting with us. So sorry, Mauro!!!!
We had a fantastic experience with Anais- she is extremely knowledgeable, was willing to answer any questions and had lots of inside information on the art and the artists. Plan for 3 hours
