The locations are absolutely breathtaking, Tony was helpful, informative and gave really useful tips! I recommend the 8am tour so you can spend the second half in the city, it kinda seems to have a slow start in the morning anyway

This tour was a great introduction to Iceland. I booked a few hours before the tour because I didn’t make any prior plans. I was very happy with my decision and explored so much more of the island than I expected. This tour takes you on a visit to the Golden Circle and includes geysers, waterfalls and tectonic plates from the continental divide. It started with a light drizzle and ended in a stronger rain. Bring a rain jacket and if you have any other rainproof gear, it will be beneficial for the waterfall mist and geyser (if you choose to stand in the wrong area). Boots would have been a plus. My shoes were soaked by the end of the trip. Wi-fi on the bus was great and allowed me to upload videos and keep in contact with the outside world as I traveled through the middle of nowhere. There’s a lot of downtime, so make sure you have comfortable clothing and maybe headphones to pass some time. *I don’t consider this a negative, there’s just a lot of space between stops. Every stop has a visitors center with free bathrooms, food and a store to buy magnets and other trinkets. The tour guide was fun, informative and kept our attention throughout the tour, making it a really great time. I look forward to my next Golden Circle Guided Bus Tour.
I use a cane and the tour director would not make sure I was off the bus before directing or leading the group. Even after I asked, she just took off with the group she had. They also did not take us back to our hotel where we caught it that morning but to a “nearby” intersection. It was not nearby for me!
