El Círculo Dorado es el destino más emblemático de Reykjavik. En esta ruta disfrutarás de hermosos paisajes y visitarás tres lugares famosos de Islandia: la zona geotérmica de Geysir, la cascada de Gullfoss y el parque nacional de Thingvellir.
Thingvellir es un lugar importante histórica y geológicamente. Aquí se encontraba el primer parlamento islandés fundado a finales de los años 900 y esta es también una división visible entre las placas continentales de Eurasia y Norteamérica.
Strokkur es el hermano pequeño o el famoso Geysir que ya no está activo. Strokkur, sin embargo, sigue siendo muy activo soplando agua en el aire cada 7 a 10 minutos. En esta parada también se puede comprar comida.

This sounded like a long, tiring tour, but the day went really fast. Our tour guide/driver was entertaining and knowledgeable. All of the sites were fascinating. The final stop at the Blue Lagoon was a perfect ending of the day.
This kind of trip we think isn't really for us. We like more time at places, to take in the history geology and culture rather than being herded around to point and press cameras then leave on a bus and drive manically to the next destination. It may be for others but not us I'm afraid.
Our guide, Sigfus, made our trip around the Golden Circle an excellent adventure. His explanations and personal stories made the trip not only informative but entertaining and enjoyable!
Our tour guide Andrea led us on a must-see tour of the Golden Circle and the Blue Lagoon, covering all the basics in an 11-hour marathon. She was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend taking this tour and requesting her as your guide.
Fantastic trip, well worth the money. Our guide, Sigfus Thor, was first class and would recommend to everyone. He made the trip all the more enjoyable, with additional bonus tours over and above what was scheduled. Trip was fun and educational.
Siggj was great! An excellent tour guide with a lot of knowledge about Iceland’s geology and history. His sense of humor and connecting with the participants (like quickly memorizing our names) really stood out and made the excursion memorable and special. Seeing the waterfalls, geyser, tectonic fissure, the remains of the abandoned town, the volcanic crater lake, and the blue lagoon were unique experiences that I will never forget. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Siggi!
Sigfús Pór Sigmundsson Is the best tour guide ever. He is a native of Iceland and knows all the history etc. of every place we went and more. He really made our day special. He added a couple of extra stops too. I would definitely request him as your driver!

This tour is. Great first day in I Iceland tour. It gave you a sense for the landscape and geysers and waterfalls. The blue lagoon has been a long time destination desire of mine and it did not disappoint. I recommend this tour.
