Private transportation was great. Ordered the bag lunch. Auschwitz-Birkenau was humbling experience and very glad we did it.
Thank you for the lovely feedback! We’re so glad the private transportation and bag lunch worked out well, and that your visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau left such a meaningful impression. Thanks for sharing your experience!
From initial enquiry through to booking process and communication this was flawless. We have a wheelchair user with us and his needs were really considered. Our driver Sebastian was very good - made sure we were in the right place at the right time - the museum is very much run to time so he navigated us through brilliantly . We hadn’t booked lunch but they offered us a fabulous packed lunch for £10 as there is little time to sort one out at the museum
We have just returned from our 4 day trip to Krakow, we had booked a tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau with a private transfer prior to going on holiday. The guided tour we were given when we arrived was excellent. Of course many harrowing stories and many harrowing things to see. But an unmissable tour and can highly recommend using Krakow Discovery.
Konrad was very friendly. We arrived early and so had to queue with many coach trips, maybe it would have been better to be an hour later? Excellent guide and well worth the trip.
We were a group of 13 so a group tour was the best option , I contacted krakow discovery who gave me al the costs and info we needed for our visit , I had seen people let down by other companies so was nervous booking but we were not disappointed , collected from our hotel in a comfortable mini bus with a friendly driver who met our guide and she was very informative and passionate , a moving visit which highlighted the atrocious cruelty which was inflicted on so many people , our driver met us to then transfer to Birkenau , again our guide talked and walked us around the camp , a hot day in May so have a sun hat as no shade , Thank you for organising
Friendly competent driver who chatted to us all the way making the time pass quickly. He looked after us very well and gave us tips on how to avoid the queues. The guide at the camps was very patient especially as one of our group was elderly and infirm. The whole experience from start to finish was excellent and taking the private transport meant that we travelled in comfort
We booked a private tour to go to Auschwitz and the Salt Mine. It was great! They managed all the tickets. We had a private car with a great driver.
Excellent trip, private transport was brilliant , no waiting , very well organised., lunch was just right. The trip was very emotional and informative
Absolutely incredible From start to finish it was a seamless experience. I contacted online, received email confirmation of my booking, along with an update the day before confirming pick up time. We chose a private transfer which was comfortable, spacious. The tour guides were exceptionally informative. Auschwitz itself needs no explanation - it is beautifully restored to maintain the memories of those that lost their lives.
We found it easy to book on-line with Krakow Discovery and they were also very helpful in answering our questions, making suggestions and keeping us informed of any changes to the schedule. The car was really clean and comfortable, which coupled with a safe and pleasant driver (who spoke fluent English) made for a very smooth and enjoyable experience.
