Two-part tour: first the Wawel castle and cathedral, then multiple places and churches in old town culminating at St. Mary’s. Altogether, it was a very good and informative tour. Lots of information in the first part, and that was just scratching the surface. You probably could spend all day at the castle and cathedral, and there would still be things to notice and learn. The true standout of the tour was our guide for the second part, Pauline. She offered great details on Krakow and Polish history, and the ties to the various places we visited. St. Mary’s is stunning and a must-visit. Pauline even offered a tip about when and how to see the bugle call (a holdover practice from many years ago) performed at the top of one of the St. Mary’s towers.
Hello, Thank you for such a thoughtful and detailed review. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed both parts of the tour and found it informative throughout. We’ll gladly share your kind words with Pauline—she’ll be very happy to hear that her storytelling and historical insights made such a strong impression. Thank you for choosing to explore Krakow with us. Kind regards Thousand Miles
Ewa our guide was great. Provided lots of information on Polish history and the part Krakow played in history. Small group tour allows more time for questions etc. Well worth it
Hello Thank you for your kind review. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour and that Ewa’s knowledge about Polish history helped make the experience even more interesting. It’s great to know that the small group format allowed more interaction and time for questions. Kind regards Roman.
We got a good taste of Wawel Castle and Cathedral on the first part of the tour. While I suspect we could have spent days in these areas, our guide Eva really helped make our visit informative and efficient. It really helped to have a guide and the headsets were great. After a short break, we met Eva again to tour St. Peter and Paul's and St. Mary's Basilica. Again, she was so knowledgeable and answered many questions. We even made an unplanned stop inside St. Andrew's because I had asked a question about the church. Because of the crowds, having a guide really makes things go smoother and more efficiently. If you want to make the most out of your visit, go with Thousand Miles!

I am giving this tour 5 stars only because the lady Paulina who guided the second part of our tour was so amazing she made up for the first part. 1st the tour was not what I expected. It reads as though it is one tour. So we were a bit confused when we were told we’d have to find our way back from the Wawel Castle to the meeting point to start the Old Town and St Mary’s Basillica portion of the tour. The first tour guide, although very friendly and knowledgeable was difficult to understand. He spoke very fast and was also hard to keep up with while walking. The tour was extremely rushed. No time for photos. My husband and I did ok keeping up and trying to understand him. But it took a lot of energy and focus to do so. The older people on the tour were very frustrated and gave up even trying to understand him. We also lost 2 people who were frustrated because we were running around so fast they couldn’t even snap a photo. Several other guests were also upset because questions were encouraged l, but when asked they never got answered. The second part of the tour however was amazing. Paulina was a fantasy tour guide. Perfect pace, perfect English, and so informative. One of the best guides I’ve ever had. She is the reason I am giving 5 stars. Loved that she ends the tour in St Mary’s Basilica so you can have some time to yourself and enjoy the Basilica.
Hello, Thank you for your honest and thoughtful feedback. We're truly sorry the first part of the tour didn’t meet expectations—your points are valid and will be shared with the team. We’re thrilled Paulina made such a positive impression; she’ll be delighted to hear your praise. Best regards, Patrycja
