Caroline was a wonderful guide for my first day in Aix. As someone who has lived and raised her family in Aix, she knows all the nooks and crannies, not just the major sights. I was grateful to know where to find the public toilets, the library (for a quiet morning to catch up on correspondence) , authentic cafes, and shops for unique souvenirs. As a solo traveler, I was grateful for Carolyn’s follow up messages to help increase my enjoyment of Aix.

Fantastic tour! We had a wonderful tour of Aix-en-Provence with Caroline. She was incredibly engaging and enthusiastic from start to finish, which made the experience both informative and fun. What really stood out was how attentive she was to our five-year-old—she kept him entertained the entire time while still delivering a rich and detailed tour for the adults. Caroline’s attention to detail was amazing. She pointed out fascinating features of the buildings, took us inside several of them, and shared details we never would have noticed on our own. She is kind, funny, and clearly passionate about her city. Even before the tour, she was excellent with communication and reached out on WhatsApp with thoughtful recommendations for restaurants and kid-friendly activities. It was clear she genuinely wanted us to have a great time in Aix-en-Provence. We truly had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend her.

He is such a lovely boy! You are such a sweet family, and I had a great time exploring Aix with you . I also really enjoyed talking about Florida -it brought back great memories of my time working at Epcot years ago ...it also reminds me of the manatees ! Take care, and enjoy the rest of your trip discovering the beauty of France!
Caroline is an outstanding guide - very personable, enthusiastic, and highly prepared. She grew up in the region and uses personal recollection and photographs to allow comparisons of past and present. Sĥe pointed out important details and led us into spaces we otherwise would have overlooked. She adds many stories and histories along the way. The tour added immeasurably to our appreciation of this beautiful city.

Aix en Province is a lovely & interesting small town to visit in Provence. We were delighted to find an excellent vegan restaurant called Drôle d’Endroit as this difficult in France. Draw back is TGV station being outside the city centre which is rather inconvenient ! October was a great month to visit as the weather was warm & sunny & less tourism !
Hi ! You are absolutely right !Aix is a great city for a week-end, and even more for a longer stay ! "Drôle d'Endroit" in the histotic center is indeed a lovely restaurant! The TGV station is easy to reach thanks to the shuttle buses departing from the main bus station , which run very frequently. October is indeed a wonderful month to visit the city .Happy holiday season !
Caroline communicated several times before our tour; this provided assurance that the tour would take place. Her presentation was clear, comprehensive, and interesting. She highlighted the specialness of Aix-en-Provence.

I was so happy to experience such a wonderful walking tour in Aix ! Before the tour Caroline sent me mails and confirmed about the tour, so that I had no worry to meet her. She was a true professional and a wealth of knowledge about Aix and she is updating it every time. I was so impressed that she carried many photographs, pictures, maps and catalogs in case that we could not touch them in person. Thanks to her, I really come to love Aix !!!! Unfortunately my visit was a little bit early to experience the Paul Cezanne world-wide Exhibition, but after the tour she shared her photos and impressions with me. I've never met such a friendly guide before !!!! If you are visiting Aix for the first time, you should definitely not miss this tour

I always try to welcome visitors as if they were part of my own family or close friend. You were actually the first Japanese visitor I have had the pleasure of showing around my city , and for me too, it was a special moment - a chance to share , exchange and learn more about your fascinating culture. Japan has always intrigued me and I really hope to discover your country in person one day !You are very friendly person too !:) Wishing you all the best and maybe see you again on a future trip to Provence ! Take care! Caroline

Hi Suzanne and Chris ! That was very nice to meet you and share with you this walking tour of Aix , with all my favorite places ! Take care of yourself and hope to meet you another time with your kids !
Caroline was a wealth of knowledge. She enjoyed sharing her town and history with us. She was very enthusiastic. She had pictures and maps of what she was showing us from the past and how it has changed. She was extremely helpful in getting us to our restaurant reservation. She made a phone call for us … since there were 2 restaurants with the same name. We had asked our Viking Cruise Representative to make the reservation for us, but he never gave us the address.
Hi Therese and Ron ! Thank you so much for your nice feedback ! I am so happy you enjoyed the tour and I could be helpful with your restaurant reservation ... That was very nice meeting you and talking about your travels experiences . I wish you a wonderful cruise ! Take care ! Caroline
