Highly recommended. Very easy. Pleasant to communicate with before and during. Freddy was waiting for me just past customs with a sign that had my name on it. We got in late and it was nice to not have to wait on a taxi or think about the next step. He helped with bags and was very professional. Would absolutely book again.

​Gus was incredibly responsive, reliable, and a great communicator. He was able to accommodate our last-minute request just a couple of days before our arrival when news of local protests broke out. Instead of us having to rely on an Uber (whose availability was unknown, especially since we were arriving at 3:30 a.m.), Gus went above and beyond by sleeping in the parking lot ahead of time to ensure he wouldn't miss our pickup. ​The ride from the airport to downtown Quito took about 40-45 minutes. In addition to helping us with our luggage, he even helped translate for us with our Airbnb building's security guard when we were checking in. ​Gus has a spacious cargo van with a high ceiling, which easily accommodated our group of five and all our large luggage. He's so nice and responsible. It's a shame our custom one-day guided tour had to be canceled due to the political unrest. Otherwise, it would have been so much fun having him as our guide. We'll definitely have to come back and find Gus again! I highly recommend him.

Gustavo was great. He loves his city and that passion comes through in his guiding. Gustavo was very willing to listen to my requests, and was able to fulfill all of them. He was very flexible and knowledgeable. Gustavo also went above and beyond by taking me to the local office of my airline and waiting with me until my issue was resolved. I would highly recommend using Gustavo. He will help you love Quito as much as he does.

The tour guide Mr. Gustavo, he exceeded all expectations. His English was excellent. His information about the places we visited is great. His spirit is light and patient with every requirement that arises at the time. If I had the choice to make the same tour again, I would definitely do it with Mr. Gustavo.

We were a family of 6 spending two weeks traveling around Ecuador and we needed transportation. Tours Around Quito provided a van and driver, and took us everywhere we wanted to go (Baños, Cotopaxi, Quito, Otavalo, Cotacachi and Mindo). The van was comfortable, and the driver drove safely (which was a major plus, given how erratic other cars and trucks were on the Ecuadorian roads and highways). Also, we wanted a tour guide to show us around the historic district of Quito, and Gustavo (the owner & operator of Tours Around Quito) was our personal guide. He spent half a day with us, and we found him to be interesting, friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Tours Around Quito if you're visiting Ecuador!
