This was a fantastic tour. I would highly recommend the tour. My husband and I were the only two people. Our driver was very attentive. He took us directly to each site and made sure we knew the special points of interest. He did not rush us. He was willing to wait as long at each site as we wanted.
We were the only one on the tour. Our guide was Maciek and was great. He was very helpful and gave us great info and insight. He brought us to the right places like the best Cream Cake in Wadowice. Great guide and great tour.
The church next to the flat. The home. The monastery. The visit to the papal apartment in the monastery. All of it!
The tour guide never showed up despite us being at our pick- up location 45 minutes early and waiting for over an hour after the tour began in hopes that they would arrive. requested to be reimbursed.
A must do when in Krakow. Lukas, the driver, was very friendly, spoke good english and was very informative. The tour took me to the main pilgrimages in the area, quickly and precise, and I enjoyed every minute of it.
It is an emotional tour ... to see where Juan Pablo was born and his personal belongings as well as the places where he officiated and was known was impressive. Maybe it is more aimed at Catholics and followers of the pope but for us it was something magical
Andrew was a very good and attentive guide but was flexible in allowing us time to look around on our own. He was very knowledgeable. We made an extra side trip to the Divine Mercy sanctuary which was great and much appreciated.
Didn't find that too many reviews for this tour but Cracow tours did it really good. Booked directly in their website and normally the minimum number for this tour are two. Luckily a couple booked on the same day and I was able to join this tour being a solo traveler. I was picked up at the hotel nearest to my hotel in a big bus and was transferred to a meeting point (Sheraton). From there I met my tour guide which is Andrzej Fitrzyk. There are 3 of us on this tour only so we were transported by a car. Andrzej is a good tour guide, very informative. He shared a lot of stories and literally took us into the footsteps of Pope JPII. We never felt rushed and took our own time getting the feel of the places. Andrzej also gave us simple souvenirs which is really a good touch. All in all it was a good day and good company. I highly recommend.
Who does not admire John Paul II and being in direct contact with your outfits and personal items is the most exciting thing you can experience
An experience to cherish for a lifetime. Coming all the way to Poland to visit the places of John Paul II, we couldn't find a better tour than this. Also, the tour leader, Andrew was very well informed about each place we visited and also very helpful and patient. I highly recommend this tour especially those who keep Karol close to their hearts.
