Este tour del Valle Sagrado de 1 día (VIP) le permite disfrutar de los mejores y más completos puntos destacados del Valle Sagrado, como los sitios arqueológicos de Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Chincheros, algunos mercados andinos para ir de compras + Moray, las terrazas incas y las minas de sal de Maras. El valle entre Pisac y Ollantaytambo es conocido como el Valle Sagrado de los Incas. En este recorrido, conduciremos a través de las montañas del Valle Sagrado, que jugaron un papel clave en la cultura e historia inca. El Valle tiene un clima más templado y se encuentra a menor altitud que Cusco. Verá una sucesión de pueblos pintorescos, antiguas terrazas incas y los sitios arqueológicos más importantes.

Este poblado está ubicado a 28 km de Cusco, sobre la ruta asfaltada hacia Urubamba. Aquí se encuentran los restos de lo que fuera la hacienda real de Túpac Inca Yupanqui, un bello templo colonial levantado sobre basamentos incaicos. Su mayor atractivo, sin embargo, es su mercado artesanal, originalmente dedicado al trueque de productos agrícolas entre los comuneros del valle y los de las partes altas. Actualmente, el mercado es un verdadero espectáculo de color y movimiento que fascina a los visitantes con su oferta de artesanías y prendas textiles elaboradas en el más puro estilo precolombino.
Se encuentra a 7 km de Maras y a 1 hora de la ciudad del Cusco por la ruta de Chinchero. Es una de las visitas más espectaculares, donde se observan andenes circulares de diferentes tamaños. Estos fueron terrazas de experimentación agrícola y se consideran también lugares de concentración de energía femenina, por lo que se les reconoce como un centro magnético de la Pachamama.
Ubicadas al noroeste del pueblo de Maras, son conocidas por algunos como «minas de sal» y están constituidas por unos 3.000 pozos pequeños. La sal se obtiene desde la época prehispánica mediante un sistema de secado al sol del agua salada que proviene de un riachuelo subterráneo. Una vez evaporada el agua, la sal queda lista para su venta.
Típico poblado inca ubicado a 21 km de Urubamba (2800 msnm). Fue nombrado en honor al cacique Ollanta, famoso por su romance con una princesa inca, hija de Pachacútec. Una de sus zonas mejor conservadas se extiende al norte de la plaza Hanan Huacaypata, con un total de 15 manzanas de casonas levantadas sobre muros de piedra labrada. En el vasto sitio arqueológico, situado en la colina que domina el pueblo, destacan edificios como el Templo del Sol, el Intihuatana y los Baños de la Princesa. Desde Ollantaytambo parte un camino afirmado que asciende al abra de Málaga (4200 msnm) y se interna hacia la ceja de selva, atravesando poblados como el pintoresco Huilloc, hogar de renombrados tejedores.
Urubamba ofrece hermosas vistas del Valle Sagrado y será nuestro punto de almuerzo y descanso, donde podremos disfrutar de la gastronomía peruana.
Pisac se ubica a 33 km de Cusco por carretera asfaltada, en el Valle Sagrado de los Incas. Cuenta con un pueblo antiguo y un sitio arqueológico considerado entre los más importantes del Cusco, además de un pueblo moderno de origen colonial. Aquí también se encuentra el famoso mercado artesanal de Pisac, que atrae a miles de visitantes y a comuneros procedentes de remotos poblados, quienes visten coloridas prendas tradicionales. Se recomienda comprar aquí los trabajos artesanales, ya que suelen ser más económicos que en la ciudad de Cusco.

We had an amazing Sacred Valley tour with Gabriel — he was fluent in both English and Spanish, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable, explaining everything clearly and with real passion. I was in doubt if I put the sacred valley on the trip but how good I put it!!! It was very worth the whole day route leaving from Cusco and ending around 16:00 in a hotel to sleep in the sacred valley!!
Was a fun travel day. Among the longer tours on TripAdvisor, I felt this tour had the best value. The day before the tour I reached out on Whatsapp and confirmed the hotel pickup. The additional payment for entrance tickets was clearly explained and there were no surprises. Rafael picked us up promptly at about 7am. The transport was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Rafael's driving felt safe throughout the day. Alfredo Chile was the tour guide. Me and wife, were the only English speaking customers, but Alfredo patiently explained everything in both Spanish and English. It was also fun to travel with a Peruvian clientiele (on the other tours we did in Peru, it was all foreigners). All the stops were about the perfect duration, and we liked that the guide narrative was short and to the point. Had plenty of time to take photos and Alfredo pointed us to the best spot for photos. He also snapped photos for us, when requested. Alfredo answered all follow-up questions we had. Lunch buffet provided was good too. We arrived back in Cusco, approximately at 7pm as was planned. It was a constant, on-the-go tour. Thanks to Rafael and Alfredo, we were able to check off all the Sacred Valley highlights. There were some sales pitches thrown in, something we have seen on group tours in the past, but all were optional, nothing too pushy. Highly recommend this tour.
Dangerous if someone died and they didn't help not with first aid which is the most important thing before anything else because first is safety
Our family of four did a one-day private tour of four sights in the Sacred Valley: Ollantaytambo Archeological Park, Chinchero, Moray and the Maras Salt Mines. We considered just getting a driver but decided to get someone that was an actual guide, and it was a great decision. Percy Salas Alfaro was friendly, very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. We learned so much and it made the day really special. Highly recommend Percy!!
Fernando Del Gado was our guide and everything was perfect! Careful, attentive and with lots of information, respected the time of each person and the place is wonderful.
There are no medical services, one person in my group died from abandonment. It took the doctor more than 40 minutes to reach the site without oxygen or defibrillator
I was there!!! was during a visit to the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Ollataytambo, when descending from the archaeological remains, one of the members of our group/tour (in charge of the companies lima tour and eurovips) suffered decompensation, falling to the floor where, after many minutes of despair, he would lose his life. This death could have been prevented. The victim received a first (and only) response for help from his groupmates and foreign tourists who, stunned by not believing that whoever should act did not, They intervened in the face of abandonment that seemed indifferent. NO ONE among those who were supposed to be performing any function in that place did anything or had the indispensable elements that they should have. I can assure you that there was no doctor, no oxygen, no defibrillator, no staff training in this type of problem (a simple protocol) and we were stunned at the incapacity and non-training of the supposed health professionals, who finally came (around 30 minutes later). With some help I would have survived.
