Rodney was fantastic. An amazing experience from start to finish! Rodney was personable, professional, and passionate about the areas we traveled. He answered all our questions and made the tour enjoyable for us. Much more than we expected. We would definitely book another tour with him. Helped us with photos and knew where to get the best shots. Information was always clearly explained. From the smallest details as to what we needed to wear or bring. Extremely happy with the overall experience.

Great experience made all that much more special by our guide Javier who was friendly, informative and lots of fun. We ended up being just one couple on the tour after friends had to cancel but a private tour had the advantage of flexibility to manoeuvre activities around a packed itinerary. Enjoyed the unique accommodations and most all the activities with day 3 leaving Banos being our favourite. Unfortunately, heavy rain delayed and mitigated our last day in the jungle but cudos to Javier for skilfully and carefully driving us over very challenging roads through the mountains in the dark to get us back to Quito safely.

It's hard to put into words how wonderful my experience was. I'd never booked a private, multi-day tour like this before, and this was also my first visit to South America. If you have any hesitation, go for it! My guide Santiago was intelligent, knowledgeable, and a truly excellent traveling companion. I felt taken care of safe the entire time- even when we went to the adventure park for ziplining and other activities. I felt like he shared things with me I would never have found on my own, and really made a point to think of things I would like to see. Horseback riding in Cotopaxi was such a very cool experience. If you're not used to the elevation, I'd definitely opt for this instead of the hike. I hadn't been on a horse in 25 years and felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed the landscape and ride. Quilotoa was beautiful and powerful. Kayaking on the lake was so peaceful, and I halk hiked/half rode back up. Wear hiking shoes or sandals for sure. The hotel there had wood fired stove heaters in the rooms which was fun and cozy. Baños was a fun and interesting place with great mojitos! The Pailon del Diablo was astounding! SuchiPakari lodge was phenomenal (upgrade your room to the jungle view- you will NOT regret it!) Doing a night hike in the jungle and a panga ride the following day while getting to see animals like monkeys, piranah, arapaima and more in the wild were incredibly cool. The waterfall hike and swimming were a perfect way to wrap up an amazing 4 days before heading back to Quito. Santiago took lots of pictures and videos of me and shared them so I could share with family and friends. He was knowledgeable about recent and ancient history, and an excellent driver. I've already recommended this trip to several friends!

Everything was amazing! I felt as though I got to see a large diverse part of the country and didn’t have to plan anything. The hotels were perfect, each with its own unique flair.
