Itinerario

This is a great way to see the natural beauty of Iceland in one tour. You get to see waterfalls, black sand beaches, glaciers and icebergs, and mountains along the way. This is where a great tour guide makes all the difference so you don’t have to worry about any of the logistics and you can just enjoy how beautiful Iceland is. We got to go behind a large waterfall. Where else can you do that? Being at the base of Skogafoss is an experience you won’t forget. You really feel the power of the waterfall. Be prepared to get wet. The black sand beach was really cool seeing the waves crashing against the black basalt columns. To top it off we saw the glacier lagoon. The large icebergs have a beautiful blue color and the smaller pieces are perfectly clear. I understand why they call them “diamonds” when you hold them up to the light. In between sites you will see amazing mountain landscapes. Our tour guide Alex was great. He gave us info about Iceland and the sites and made the trip a fun and enjoyable time. Iceland is so beautiful!
Sorin with North Escape was incredible! We started the 12-hour tour exhausted from an overnight flight, but we gained a second wind thanks to his tip on when to take rest and not miss a beat along the comfortable ride. The soothing Icelandic music (artists) played perfectly into the mesmerizing scenery - we said “wow” over and over. From mind blowing waterfalls to basalt (lava) columns and a glacier littered with volcanic ash that somehow created a literal work of art to lava fields covered in moss - we were impressed beyond belief. The puffins were an absolute delight to see!! Spending time on a private South Coast tour with Sorin was an epic choice!
Highly recommend! Our guide, Alex, provided a very comfortable, flexible, and comprehensive tour of several of the most spectacular sites on the South Coast. He was prompt, friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to interact with. We didn't feel rushed at any point and were provided with choices such as lunch cuisine and whether to add in a couple additional stops (which we gladly did). The whole experience was highly positive. We would book a tour with North Escape again!
Ended up being a rainy day and Alex gave us an option to switch days which was super nice. We did not switch days and had the best time even in the rain! We visited so many great locations and had the inside scoop on how to get the most out of each place we visited. Was amazing all around 👍 glacier, waterfalls, cave, black sand beach and excellent transportation service.
Alex was a great tour guide! The 6 of us totally enjoyed the day even though the weather was a bit rough. Alex was super attentive to us in the rain and navigating the slippery rocks. Couldn’t have been better considering the circumstances!
Our South Coast private tour with Alexander was absolutely amazing! In just one day, we saw waterfalls, black sand beaches, glaciers, and so many hidden spots that we would never have found on our own. Alexander is not only an excellent guide and driver — he’s a warm, attentive, and truly charming person. He shared fascinating stories, made sure we always felt safe and comfortable, and created a relaxed atmosphere as if we were visiting Iceland with a close friend. The car was perfectly clean, the route was well thought out, and we never felt rushed — every stop was just right. By the end of the day, it felt like we had gained not only unforgettable memories but also a new friend. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland 💚
Alexander was just great! 😊 As a driver on our Iceland trip he guided us safely and stylishly through the breathtaking landscape. His professionalism and friendliness were impressive - he not only got us safely to our destination, but also shared many interesting facts and stories about Iceland. Alexander was very flexible and took our wishes and needs into account throughout the trip. He showed us the most beautiful places and helped us discover the magic of Iceland. I can highly recommend Alexander as a driver and guide! If you are planning a trip to Iceland, be sure to book with him. 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, Larissa, Munich
It was a very pleasant excursion and pleasant communication. We saw a lot and enjoyed the incredible landscapes of Iceland to the fullest. We would like to express our huge gratitude to Alexander, our guide, who was with us and became more than a guide to us.
These places are on the "must see" list. At least once in your life. I saw the incredible beauty of nature and felt an exciting feeling of happiness. I get goosebumps just thinking about being there. I have been to 50 countries, and I can definitely say that our guide Alexander is one of the best in the world. I am very grateful that he was with us for 7 days.
We thoroughly enjoyed our private small group south coast tour with our excellent tourguide. The spectacular landscape and the many waterfalls were really impressive, and we were able to spot many cuddly puffins on.the amazing cliffs. Thank you for a wonderful day.
