Si tu deseo es visitar este hermoso santuario, recuerda que desde Ecuador es más cercano. Durante todo el recorrido tendremos impresionantes paisajes en las que las montañas y valles serán sus principales participantes. En nuestro recorrido observaremos gente de diferentes grupos étnicos y grupos sociales. Los paisajes alternarán entre bosques y zonas agrícolas que mostraran lindos parches de diferentes colores en las montañas. En el ingreso a Colombia o salida de Ecuador no debes realizar ningún trámite en aduanas. Esta es una de las principales novedades que hace que el visitante se pregunte , y cuándo presento mi pasaporte? Los climas y microclimas que tendremos en todo nuestro recorrido hace de este tour una experiencia para no olvidar.

Itinerario
Saliendo desde Quito, tomaremos la vía Panamerica Norte y conduciremos hacia el borde con Colombia por 4 horas 30 minutos . Pasaremos el puente de Rumichaca y en 30 minutos estaremos en nuestro destino. Este es el recorrido que haremos desde la salida hasta llegar al santuario de las Lajas
Las Lajas, uno de los santuarios religiosos más conocidos de Sudamérica por su belleza y por la dificultad en su construcción . Si desean podemos tomar el desayuno o almuerzo y por supuesto visitar el museo del Santuario para aprender sobre la historia de las tribus locales . El regreso lo podemos hacer usando teleférico, esto toma un tiempo de más o menos 20 minutos. Yo los recogeré en la estación final del teleférico.
Desde Las Lajas debemos conducir por alrededor de 30 minutos. El arte en cipres con formas de animales, figuras de arte precolombino. este es el atractivo principal del cementerio.
Una vez terminado aquí empezaremos el regreso a Quito. Esto nos llevará 5 horas desde la frontera hasta su hotel en Quito. La vista será estupenda ya que nuestro viaje será por los Andes ecuatorianos.

Although, it is a long and arduous day in the car, it is absolutely worth it such a magnificent site in Columbia. The tour guide made it exceptional by also taking me to an incredible unique cemetery in Ecuador.

I do not know how this excursion could be made better. We were picked up right on time in a very clean and comfortable car. The ride was exactly as described with outstanding guide Carlos and our driver. Carlos helped us exchange money in Columbia for all our expenses there. The cathedral was beautiful. The gondola ride was spectacular giving us an incredible view of the valley and cathedral. We spent as much time as we chose there. We visited the museum which is really nice and had several opportunities to visit the cathedral. We also went to the falls…incredible. Off to the spectacular figures in the cemetery. We stopped for a local lunch and then headed back. Volcanoes, lakes, churches and local foods and snacks. Dropped back at the hotel after a very full day. Incredible!!

One of the best tour in Quito for sure. Our tour guide Gustavo was awesome. He picked us up at our hotel on time and drove 5 hours to Las Lajas. The Sanctuary was amazing. Our dream of visiting our lady of lajas finally came true. We also visited a cemetery in Tulcan. Awesome tree designs/maze. Will definitely recommend this tour to anyone.
