El recorrido le permitirá descubrir la increíble diversidad del bosque nuboso del Chocó. Este sitio fue declarado reserva de la biosfera por su alto endemismo y fragilidad. Este sitio alberga diferentes hábitats donde viven especies de flora y fauna únicas en el mundo. Durante el recorrido podrás: - Observar y fotografiar un gran número de aves. - Caminata por el bosque nuboso - Observa paisajes increíbles - Aprender sobre la naturaleza y la cultura de la zona.

Este pequeño pueblo está rodeado por un gran bosque nuboso con varias reservas y muchas joyas de aves. Explorarás la zona en busca de nuevas especies o buenas fotografías.
Esta reserva privada tiene algunas instalaciones de comederos donde puede observar y fotografiar fácilmente muchos colibríes, tangaras y tucanes (según la temporada). Tiene unas vistas impresionantes del bosque y el paisaje donde eventualmente se acerca un ave rapaz.
El bosque de Mindo-Nambillo es una gigantesca reserva ubicada en el bosque nuboso del Chocó. Es uno de los sitios más diversos del país con gran presencia de árboles maderables, bromelias, orquídeas, helechos, mariposas, anfibios y aves.
Si eliges la opción Paz de las aves visitarás uno de los lugares más famosos para la observación de aves en Ecuador y Sudamérica. El recorrido comienza con el Gallito de las Rocas Andino en su lek. La visita permite ver y potoghaph a esta Gran Cotinga realizando la exhibición (Varios machos bailando para la hembra). Luego el recorrido continúa buscando otras rarezas en el bosque, siendo la más importante la visita a algunas localidades de Antpittas. Está el Tororoí Gigante (María), el Tororoí Pechiamarillo (Willie), el Tororoí Pechiocre y algunos otros.

We loved this day trip. The drive is beautiful. The ecosystem, the wonderful time with birds….we loved all the hummingbirds. We also visited Mindo to learn about coffee. Daniel was a wonderful guide.

All the hummingbirds were outstanding!! So much beautiful scenery to all the conservation areas. Our young guide was so knowledgeable and showed us so many that we wouldn’t have been able to find without his sharp eye! Definitely recommend to go on this tour. Our lunch was great with lots of bird feeders right where we were sitting! What a view❤️

This was my second birding trip with Daniel this year and both were exceptional! He knows the best birding spots and his ability to spot and identify the birds is top drawer. I highly recommend him for a wonderful experience.

The local guide was great, but Viator failed to tell him that the hotel for pickup had changed, so there was a delay in him finding me. The phone numbers Viator provided for the local guide company & the Viator numbers were wrong, so that added to the confusion & delay. That said, the local tour guide was very knowledgeable and the excursion was very worthwhile. I did not give 5 stars just because of Viator’s failure. The local guide did a 5 star job.
