Su viaje culinario comienza en Plaza Grande, el corazón histórico de Quito. Aquí, su guía le dará una cálida bienvenida y compartirá las introducciones esenciales antes de comenzar esta sabrosa experiencia a través de la ciudad.
Aquí degustará dulces tradicionales quiteños y descubrirá la historia detrás de las famosas mistelas, pequeñas delicias locales llenas de historia y sabor.
Aquí probarás el mote con chicharrón, un plato tradicional andino de Ecuador. Combina maíz blanco suave y cocido (mote) con panza de cerdo crujiente, a menudo frito en su propia grasa para un sabor adicional.
COEE (Comunidad Ecuatoriana de Empresarios) : Visite la primera y mayor asociación de empresarios ecuatorianos, donde pasión y trabajo duro se unen para mostrar que Ecuador lo tiene todo. Cada proyecto refleja innovación, creatividad y espíritu emprendedor del país.

Esta especialidad costera tradicional está hecha con atún rojo, yuca, cebolla roja, tomate y especias aromáticas, creando un caldo rico y reconfortante.
Aquí probarás el cevicho, una versión tradicional andina del ceviche ecuatoriano. Este refrescante plato serrano combina chochos (frijoles altramuces andinos), cebolla roja, tomate y jugo de cítricos (naranja y lima) para una experiencia fresca y sabrosa.

We had a great time with Sebastian. It was awesome to learn about Quito’s history and to tastes different candies and chocolate flavors. Sebastian kept it very interesting the entire time, and we got to practice our Spanish, though he was considerate enough to translate for us!

I had a great tour with Sebastián - he was very flexible and managed to accustom the tour according to our wishes and interests. He showed us many places, told us a lot about the history of Ecuador and let us try local food. Highly recommended!

We took a walking tour from Jhonatan, and had an amazing experience learning about Quito! We learned so much about the country's geography, history, language, and, of course, the best local sweets! We'd recommend this tour to anyone looking to learn more about Quito and visit some of the cities best sights!

We jumped into this experience last minute and I’m so very glad we did! Jhonathan has so much historical knowledge of Ecuador and its people and it was just a joy to learn from him and experience our first day in Quito together with fellow travelers! Chocolate tastings, sweets, we learned about the indigenous language, the culture and traditions, all while walking around the city. Just really incredible and suitable for all!! I highly recommend.

We did a walking tour of Quito’s historical centre with Jhonatan. It was a perfect introduction to the culture, history, society and food of Ecuador! Jhonatan spoke good English and had the answers to all of my questions! He was friendly, generous with his time and gave us many great recommendations. We tasted local candy and did a chocolate tour Perfecto and gracias Jhonatan!

Wonderful! Our whole family, including teenager, recommend this tour without hesitation! I highly recommend doing this at any point during your stay in Quito, but even more so near the beginning. Our guide (Grace) was friendly and fun, and full of good stories, history, and insights about the city as well as the food. There was a good balance of food and movement, walking between stops. We got everything from fresh juice to soup to the best empanada I've ever had, and other treats as well. We learned about (and sampled) some great Ecuadorian coffee, and did a chocolate tasting that was amazing. What we learned about the city informed some of our plans for open times in our schedule the next few days in Quito. What we sampled and learned about the food inspired our choices throughout our stay. 6 out of 5 stars. Five for the experience itself, and an extra for the bonus effect it had on the rest of our trip.
