Made a booking for my husband and myself on my birthday. Shoutout to the entire staff, especially Kaitlyn at the front desk and Jules for taking great videos+photos throughout! As someone who’s never zip lined before, I really appreciated their pacing - starting us off at easy lines and working our way up to the harder ones. There were seven lines in total and the excursion took around two and a half hours. The tours are smaller too, which is a bonus, but be prepared to have little to no shade while you wait your turn. Highly recommend giving these guys a shot next time you’re in Hilo!

This was an amazing opportunity to see the Akaka Falls without navigating the hike. The guides were very personable and shared about the history of the land, as well as the descriptions of the fruits and fauna.

We had an absolutely amazing time on the Zipline Adventure with Hawaii Zip Line and Hiking Tours! Flying high above the rainforest treetops while taking in breathtaking views of canyons and waterfalls was an unforgettable experience. The scenery alone is worth it, but the adventure made it even more exciting. A huge thank you to our guides Torrance and Julia, and our driver Rose, who were fantastic from start to finish. They were energetic, fun, and incredibly encouraging, making sure everyone felt comfortable while always putting safety first. Their enthusiasm was contagious and they truly made the experience memorable. If you're looking for an exciting way to experience Hawaii's natural beauty, I can't recommend this tour enough. We had such a great time and can't wait to come back and do it again!

Great time with the last zip line over the Falls the best. I would say this is a great beginner tour for families.

Wow! To zipline over Akaka Falls was nothing short of amazing! Our guides were great and we also learned a lot about this area of Hawaii. Highly recommend it. Also, I do have a great fear of heights, but for some reason, I'm always able to push through with ziplining.

It was a lot of fun. From start till the end Rose, Armani and Caitlin made us feel at ease. I’m there to watched my GS Draven enjoy, but I enjoyed it too as I realized I had to put my full trust in these three amazing instructors. Highly recommend to those families with young kids

This was a great zipline activity for my family which included my adult son and 10-year-old daughter. My daughter who weighs 90lbs - we were concerned about her weight and if she would be able to ride alone - non tandem. These lines are perfect for small children or first timers who are afraid of heights. This tour gradually introduces you and works you up slowly. The zip line company was great and highly focuses on safety. The entire team was very helpful.

The Zip Line Experience was an enjoyable and safe environment of recreational fun. The staff was very accommodating to all of the anxiety, fears, and consciousness of human behavior. Safety was always the first priority and no one felt isolated. It was a team effort From everyone. I would not change anything about this recreational business or the staff who operates it.

My wife and I extended our stay on the Big Island by an extra day to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary, just so we could experience this zipline adventure—and it was absolutely worth it! This was our very first time ziplining, and I have to admit that I'm very afraid of heights. What made this experience so enjoyable was how the course was designed. They start you off with a short zipline and gradually work up to longer, higher, and more exciting runs. By the time we reached the highest and longest zipline over the waterfall, I felt confident and safe. Even though I was still nervous at the end, I was able to push through my fear, and it became one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had. A huge thank you to Bobbi and Bradley for making the adventure so much fun. They kept everyone laughing, made us feel safe the entire time, and shared fascinating information about the history of Hawaii, its trees, and native plants. Their knowledge and professionalism were outstanding. Also, thank you to our driver, Kaitlyn, for the fun ride to and from the course and for helping make the day even more enjoyable. If you're visiting the Big Island, this is a must-do experience. Ziplining over a beautiful waterfall while surrounded by Hawaii's incredible scenery is something you'll never forget. Highly recommended!

The staff and guides are all the most wonderful humans I have ever met. If you are lucky enough to get Rose as one of your guides, you will get also get a comedy show. She really should do standup 🖤 The office staff were so incredibly sweet too when my husband couldn’t go because he gained a few pounds on vacation. She helped us work with the site I booked through and everything to get a refund for him. Only reason for knocking off a star is for the actual zip lining itself. Anyone who has zip lined anywhere else in the world where you really get a wild adventure (like me) will be underwhelmed. I’ve done zip lines with crazy drops/repelling down waterfalls/rollercoaster tricks/dipping in the water etc so this one was just 7 straight little quick zips. The last line over the waterfall was a beautiful sight, for sure. Just pretty slow and gentle rides which would be perfect for a first time zip, for kids, or for people really afraid of heights - the rest of the people in my group seemed to thoroughly enjoy the whole experience! I just wish I had seen a review like this for myself, as someone looking for a more epic adventure.
