El área PORTO ANTICO es el gran punto de encuentro turístico de la ciudad. Completamente peatonal es perfecto para aprender de manera rápida y segura cómo conducir el Segway, a tiro de piedra del mar.
La excursión comienza con la vista del Palazzo S. Giorgio, el primer banco de Europa y un lugar de gran importancia histórica.
Ingresaremos al casco antiguo medieval pasando por esta importante plaza, llena de curiosidades e importantes edificios.
Pasaremos por el centro histórico peatonal más grande de Europa, con su historia milenaria y sus intrincados callejones, sus secretos y sus lugares más característicos. Es un patrimonio mundial de la UNESCO.
Cruzaremos una de las carreteras más fascinantes e importantes de Europa, completamente original, símbolo de la ciudad. Sus elegantes edificios del siglo XVI y sus jardines suspendidos nos brindarán un ambiente único e inolvidable.
Después de visitar los callejones del casco antiguo, las iglesias y los edificios que lo componen, pasamos a una era más reciente a través de la espectacular y elegante galería de hierro del siglo XIX que nos llevará a nuevos e importantes monumentos.
Llegaremos al corazón del centro histórico, la gran plaza con la majestuosa fuente, dominada por el importante Teatro Carlo Felice, el edificio de la Bolsa y otros hermosos palacios, y por la magnífica Via XX Settembre, la histórica calle comercial y de negocios de la ciudad.
Admiraremos el grandioso, suntuoso y elegante Palazzo Ducale fue la residencia de los señores genoveses y la sede del poder de la ciudad, y también se encuentra en el corazón del centro histórico, Piazza Matteotti.
Llegaremos a la casa donde nació el famoso navegante genovés en 1451, y nos sorprenderá el encanto que conserva.
Pasaremos por esta imponente puerta medieval, antiguo acceso a la República de Génova, para volver a deslizarse por los callejones de uno de los barrios más antiguos de la ciudad: Via di Ravecca.
Veremos la antigua iglesia y su particular claustro, algunos destellos del centro vistos desde una posición elevada y fascinante, luego descenderemos nuevamente hacia el mar.
La juventud, los estudiantes de la famosa Universidad de Génova y la Génova de la "movida" siempre se han reunido en esta característica plaza, llena de restaurantes, pubs y cervecerías, un verdadero "ombligo del mundo".
La Catedral de Génova, la iglesia más importante del centro histórico, con sus preciosos mármoles y su arquitectura impresionante, nos hará levantar la cabeza al cielo para poder verlo todo.
El recorrido termina con un paseo por el paseo marítimo, en el PORTO ANTICO, con sus pabellones y edificios modernos, la fantástica y fascinante Galeone Neptune, una estrella de cine pirata, para finalmente llegar a la orilla del mar y admirar todo el puerto desde Un área dedicada.

We have taken Segway tours in various world cities before but this was the best. We easily manoeuvred through Genova’s winding streets stopping frequently while Matt explained the historical significance of the sites before us. The tour was well paced, informative and a great way to see the historic Old Town including the beautiful noble residences, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We really enjoyed the experience. Learning segway done with seriousness, very kindness of the Italian guide who gave everything to speak French. The French was very approximate but sufficient, and at least done with will. To further explore the history of some places we will return more specifically but without segway. I highly recommend this activity if you want to discover the segway and travel the city quickly with a touch of history and sympathy.
Fabulous way to see Genoa. We chose the 2 hour tour to fully enjoy the city, definitely a highlight of our holiday. We had a problem weatherise on the 1st day of our booking but Mattieo gave us a few options, which we were grateful for, allowing us to do the tour with Joseph the following day. Can't fault the staff, their patience with novices is outstanding, very good tuition on how to travel safely and Joseph was very attentive, checking I was ok all through the trip - Brilliant! I would def recommend this tour!
I received this experience as a gift. Absolutely recommended, very fun and engaging, riding the Segway has allowed you to discover many interesting views of Genoa. Two and a half hours of flying, definitely not heavy and not tiring. Applause to Matthias, our guide, very prepared and very nice
A fun way to see Genova. Matt was a great guide with a good knowledge of the area and a lovely, easygoing narure. We learned a lot about the history of Genova which was enlightening and interesting
I highly recommend this activity to visit especially with Matt who knows the city on his fingertips and who makes you super comfortable to segway.

Great way to see Genoa. Tour guide Mattieo was fabulous. I would highly recommend the tour. We did a two hour tour and we really got to see the city. It is an absolutely a beautiful city. We were on a cruise ship and only had one day to see the city so it was a perfect experience. Thank you for a great day.
What a great way to see Genova! I can't say enough great things about Matt the guide! He was knowledgeable, funny and made the day so much fun. He clearly knows the city and took us to all the must see spots. The segway was easy to learn to use and Matt did a great job with a segway tutorial prior to the tour. This really is ideal with the hills, distance and closed streets.
