Excellent walking tour! The guide, Lorenzo, was funny, charming, and able to answer all of our questions. The food and wine were delicious, though our group included a few vegans who didn't get much at a couple of the stops, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Overall an excellent thing to do near the start of our trip as it gave us a feel for the city!
Lovely experience, Lorenzo was a knowledgeable and friendly guide and provided a great introduction to Genova. Would recommend messaging in advance if you have any dietary requirements, and ask for accommodations :)
Very good story, food, wine. The wine store in paticular.
Lorenzo was Great! Nice Food and wines!
We had so many laughs and the food was delicious. Focaccia, fried seafood, gelato and pesto…all amazing. We didn’t want it to end!
It was a beautiful afternoon where we tasted a fantastic tour and delicious food and drinks led by Lorenzo between 17-19.30. He is an accessible young man who has knowledge of history in terms of Genoa and talks openly about the city. He took us to churches and food places so we could taste everything. Delicious! And Genoa is a beautiful city where we will definitely come back.
Lorenzo made this trip truly special with his lovely humor, great local knowledge and personal touch. Food, wine and good stories went down high. Recommended!
Lorenzo was an amazing tour guide that was very informative not only of Genovese food and culture but also the history of the area. He took us to a few spots that were off the beaten path and required special access so that felt extra cool. Would highly recommend!
Lorenzo took us to a few street food places. All were good. More pasta variety would have been a great addition.
We had a fun taste of Genoa with our charismatic guide, Lorenzo. The group was nice and small so we could get acquainted with each other and not feel like we were clogging the sidewalk. We got to sample delicious breads, fried fish, pesto, wine and the unique local coffee ice cream. Lorenzo helped to make sure my food allergies were conveyed to the restaurants, which was very kind. Along the way we were also shown a few architectural and cultural gems hidden behind the high defense walls of Genoa. We even got to meet the canine Doge of the city and pat him on the head :)
