El Tour Tales of Fire and Ice reúne nuestras experiencias aéreas más emblemáticas, coronadas con dos aterrizajes inolvidables, uno en un glaciar y otro en el área geotérmica de Hengill. Por favor, no es que los aterrizajes dependen de la meteorología y la seguridad.

Itinerario
Su aventura comenzará en el aeropuerto nacional de Reykjavik. Nuestro piloto experimentado lo recibirá con la más cálida bienvenida y lo llevará directamente al glaciar Þórisjökull para nuestro primer aterrizaje. Durante el viaje hacia el glaciar, lo llevaremos a través de la cascada más alta y deslumbrante de toda Islandia; el famoso Glymur.
Este recorrido en helicóptero le ahorrará horas de caminata y disfrutará de la vista panorámica desde su cómodo asiento en lo alto del cielo. Una vez que lleguemos a nuestra parada de aterrizaje designada sobre el vasto glaciar; ¡Tendrás la oportunidad de deambular por el glaciar, tomar fotos y crear innumerables recuerdos! ¡Lanza bolas de nieve, haz una pelea de bolas de nieve! ¡Construye tu propio ángel de nieve e intenta hacer un muñeco de nieve! ¡Simplemente disfrutar de la impresionante vista también es suficiente por derecho propio! El aire fresco y fresco del glaciar es tentador para tus sentidos.
Te llevaremos al Parque Nacional Þingvellir, en el Círculo Dorado, que es Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. El lugar tiene una importancia histórica considerable ya que ostenta con orgullo ser la cuna del parlamento más antiguo existente en el mundo. Aquí, también tendrá la oportunidad de contemplar las aguas cristalinas del lago más grande de Islandia. El área teje un tapiz colorido de la historia islandesa. Contemplarás las huellas de los vikingos cuando mires hacia el Cañón que divide los continentes americano y euroasiático en el Parque Nacional Þingvellir. También tendrá la oportunidad de ver la deriva continental de las placas tectónicas de Eurasia y América del Norte que es completamente visible desde arriba.
El segundo aterrizaje de este recorrido sería en el área geotérmica de Hengill. El área recibió su nombre del volcán Hengill, que está situado en un valle remoto al que solo se puede acceder en helicóptero o caminando. El valle cuenta con aguas termales, ollas de barro hirviendo a las que puedes caminar y observar de muy cerca. El lugar mágico te envolverá alrededor de su dedo meñique encantado y hará que te enamores de la belleza de otro mundo que te rodea.

Absolutely amazing!! Highly recommended - everything through from making the booking to departing after our flight was highly efficient, really welcoming, friendly and just superb. Our pilot was lovely and really fun!! Such a smooth flight, he was pointing out features as we flew and couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. Even did a couple of stunts at the end!! We had a fantastic, unforgettable trip. After a long wait, we finally had luck with the weather. Everything was organized perfectly and to our complete satisfaction by the Glacier Heli Team. The helicopter flight was fantastic. The landing on the glacier was beautiful. Flying over Iceland is an experience in itself; I enjoyed it very much.
Hello, it was a really good experience. Reykjavík airport is a heleport that you have to be patient with. Cloud cover hangs out. We had to wait three times but that was OK because we eventually went out and the experience was worth it. Great flight and very good people to experience it with. I hope this company does well! This was a great experience. Our pilot was so nice and informative. We saw so much in the short time we had.
Great trip! The crew adapted well to the weather so we still managed to see all the main attractions. The pilot always did a few passes to everyone could see. I have add other tours in others countries, I do feel this was priced quite a bit higher than those but so is everything else in Iceland.
