Nuestros amables guías locales, que se especializan en el pronóstico de la aurora boreal, utilizan los datos en vivo cada noche para encontrar los mejores lugares libres de multitudes, lo que le brinda la mejor oportunidad de ver este fenómeno mágico. Envuélvete en mantas de lana islandesa caliente, bebe delicioso chocolate caliente y saborea pasteles tradicionales mientras el cielo nocturno cobra vida. Itinerario
En primer lugar, comenzará su búsqueda de la aurora boreal con un poco de planificación a través del pronóstico de la aurora y comenzará su exploración dirigiéndose hacia la ubicación seleccionada. Puede conducir hasta una hora para llegar a un buen lugar y tal vez esperar a que aparezcan las luces. En este punto, sacamos el chocolate caliente y la bollería islandesa. También tenemos mantas de lana islandesa a bordo para mantenerte abrigado mientras estás afuera. Puede haber la decisión de cambiar de lugar, interactuando con otros lugareños, ya que hay muchas personas diferentes afuera buscando luces todas las noches. Hacemos esto para aumentar las posibilidades de encontrar auroras boreales. Si no hay auroras boreales durante el recorrido, puede volver a intentarlo de forma gratuita (sujeto a disponibilidad). Al viajar en un minibús se obtiene la calidad de un grupo reducido de no más de 19 personas, ya que se evitan las aglomeraciones para llegar al mejor lugar disponible.

La recogida comienza 30 minutos antes de la hora de salida. * Aug 15–Sep 30 & Apr 1–Apr 18 : de 21 : 30 * Oct 1–Mar 31 : de 20 : 30 Necesitamos tener su dirección de correo electrónico registrada para poder enviarle un correo electrónico 30 minutos antes de la hora de recogida programada. Este correo electrónico contendrá una descripción de nuestro automóvil, incluyendo una foto y un número de matrícula. También proporcionaremos el nombre del guía en el correo electrónico. Nuestro conductor-guía siempre se detendrá, saldrá del coche y le buscará. No saldrán del punto de recogida a menos que no puedan localizarte.

Si no encontramos ninguna luz durante el recorrido, puede unirse a nosotros nuevamente otro día de forma gratuita (sujeto a nuestra disponibilidad). Sin embargo, no tendrá derecho a obtener un reembolso.
- Un reembolso solo es posible si el tour nunca se realiza mientras estás en Islandia y nunca tienes la oportunidad de unirte al tour, lo que a veces ocurre debido a condiciones climáticas desfavorables.
- El recorrido se opera en un minibús y no supera los 19 pasajeros.
- No se puede comprobar la disponibilidad del tour sin hacer una reserva. Solo se cargarán los cargos a las tarjetas de crédito tras la confirmación de la disponibilidad indicada.
- Este tour se realiza de noche, vístase adecuadamente con ropa abrigada. Traiga un sombrero, guantes y una bufanda. Siempre se recomienda ropa impermeable mientras se viaja por Islandia.

If the weather had cooperated I’m sure this excursion would have been a success. With that being said, the guide and transportation were fantastic.

Very happy with this tour, it was well organised and the communication with the company was excellent. We managed to see the lights, albeit not as spectacular as I’d hoped, although our guide worked hard to find the best locations for us. Obviously the tour group has no control over the conditions! The sky was clear, though, and even seeing the stars was amazing. The hot chocolate and snacks went down a treat, and we had really good quality photos from the guide available after a few days. Would recommend this tour.

We were really desperate to see the Northern Lights. We had traveled to the south of Iceland to see them and we had no luck due to weather. We booked a trip with EastWest for the evening before our tour but it was cancelled because of cloud cover. I really appreciated that as the company could have easily taken us out and taken our time and money. So I felt that this was a very honest company. This was also reinforced by the concierge of our hotel who said EastWest was the only company she would book for this kind of tour. Our tour guide Baldvin picked us up at our hotel. The van was incredibly comfortable and had WIFI. Big plus! Baldvin was very informative and was just as excited when he spotted the lights as the guests were. We were super lucky to see them. It was very special and was a highlight of the trip. It's not like anything I imagined. We could see them with the naked eye, but not as bright and stunning as through the camera lens. I appreciated that Baldvin included a bathroom break at an Icelandic gas station. We were able to get drinks and snacks which was another big plus for us. All in all I thought this tour was well done and very enjoyable.

We had a northern lights tours with Baldvin. We enjoyed this tour with him and it felt exciting to go find the northern lights and see if we would be lucky enough to see them. We felt he went above and beyond as a storm was coming the next day and he drove farther out so that we would have a clear enough sky to see them. We are able to see them and the photos turned out great!

Our tour to see the Northern Lights was very enjoyable, even in the very cold weather! Tour guide was knowledgeable and informative and he seemed very experienced in "finding" the Northern Lights, and we did! I believe prices are comparable to other tour groups. Reserving the tour through our hotel was very easy. I highly recommend EastWest as a tour source and would happily go with them again.

My wife really enjoyed this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the science in determining whether the lights would be visible or not. Unfortunately they’re not visible with the naked eye. You have to use your phone and take a picture , then the color of the lights come thru.

What you experienced is quite common, especially on nights with lower aurora activity. The camera can capture colors and details that the human eye cannot always see clearly, so the lights can appear faint or more like a glow in real time. On stronger nights, the aurora can be much more vivid to the naked eye, but as a natural phenomenon, this level of intensity cannot be guaranteed on any given evening.
