Itinerario
Estaremos en su hotel puntualmente para recogerlo a la hora programada. Después de los recogidos, nos dirigiremos a Cusipata, donde el viaje tiene una duración de dos horas y media hasta llegar al punto donde disfrutaremos de nuestro desayuno.
Al llegar a este lugar aproximadamente a las 6:20 a.m., seremos recibidos con nuestro delicioso desayuno buffet. Después de disfrutar de esta delicia matutina, nuestro guía nos proporcionará las instrucciones necesarias para iniciar nuestra emocionante aventura en los vehículos todo terreno que nos llevarán a Qosqopata, ubicado a 4900 metros sobre el nivel del mar. El trayecto en vehículo suele durar alrededor de una hora. Luego, continuaremos la experiencia caminando durante 35 minutos, cubriendo una distancia de 1,5 kilómetros, hasta alcanzar el impresionante mirador de la montaña de 7 colores, que se eleva a 5038 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
Nuestros guías le acompañarán a lo largo de todo el trayecto en cuatrimotos desde la comunidad de Japurá, donde se encuentra nuestra base. Desde este punto, serás testigo de paisajes únicos, rodeados de montañas, ríos, nevados y la presencia de animales altoandinos, como llamas y alpacas, en su hábitat natural, pastoreados por lugareños. La culminación de esta experiencia es la impresionante Montaña de Siete Colores, un regalo visual que parece haber sido pintado por los dioses, dejándonos un legado que honra a nuestros antepasados. En este majestuoso lugar, tendrás la oportunidad de disfrutar de la grandiosidad de la naturaleza, capturando los mejores momentos en fotografías y videos. Nuestros guías te ofrecerán explicaciones detalladas sobre las formaciones geomorfológicas, el origen de la montaña y la fascinante variedad de colores.
Después de disfrutar del mirador de la montaña de 7 colores, nos subiremos a nuestros vehículos todo terreno para emprender el regreso a la ciudad de Cusipata, donde nos aguarda un delicioso almuerzo. Tras culminar esta sabrosa comida, iniciaremos el retorno a Cusco, llegando a eso de las 4:30 p.m. en promedio. Con esto, concluiremos nuestro recorrido dejando a los participantes en sus respectivos hoteles.

Total SCAM, stay away from them. We booked the tour from them and there was absolutely no communication from them. They didn’t show up to pick us up and there were absolutely no responses from their part.
Good breakfast and lunch. The driver and guide were both very friendly and accommodating. Very short ATV ride. Then given option to spend more money on either a motorbike or horseback ride up the hill, or else the other option to walk. I am not sure the price was worth it for this tour.

I booked this ATV tour to Rainbow Mountain from Cusco because it was advertised as a "time saver" with a "30-minute ATV ride" and the promise to "be the first at the top." Unfortunately, the experience was the complete opposite. The ATV portion was a total letdown. The ride starts before the main parking area where all the regular tour buses go, and it lasts only about 9 minutes—just riding behind the vans on the same road. No scenery, no excitement. It felt like a forced detour just to say you "rode an ATV." Even worse, the whole process added nearly an hour with orientation, waiting, and transport logistics. There was absolutely no time saved—in fact, we arrived later than many of the regular tour groups. To top it off, the guide asked if we wanted to pay extra for a motorcycle ride to get to the top early—which isn’t exclusive to this tour at all. Anyone at the base can pay for that ride. So much for "being the first." I paid extra for an ATV tour that was completely unnecessary and didn’t deliver on any of its promises. Don’t fall for the marketing—it’s a waste of money and time.

The ATV ride is intended to cover part of the route, reducing the overall hiking time. The final stretch to the top is managed by local communities, who offer optional motorcycle rides for an additional cost, independent of our tour. We strive to make the experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible, and we are sorry if there was any misunderstanding regarding the logistics. We had such a great time. Our driver and guide were great. They were very knowledgeable. We got to Rainbow mountain early and beat the crowds.

It was a sightseeing trip in an all-terrain vehicle with hotel transfers, breakfast and lunch. The buggies will be handled in advance, and after the check run, formation will be determined within the nine-person tour, with the guide in charge at the front and back to ensure safe driving. I asked him to change the date of my visit because I was not feeling well, and he agreed and called the hotel to confirm on the day. It was a memorable tour, blessed with good weather, despite a mix of English and Spanish.
