They are scammers. Reserved for 9:30 and they change the time to 5:20 with less than 24 hours so that you cannot cancel. What a shameful company if this is how it can be called.
Avoid this company. They also operate under the name Royal Cracow, so be sure to check those reviews as well. We booked a 9:00am trip, only for them to wait until the cancellation window had passed before informing us that it had been moved to 12:50pm. There was no apology, no attempt to offer an alternative, and no concern whatsoever for the inconvenience caused. Their response was essentially, “You should have read the small print.” As a result, all of our evening plans had to be rearranged and parts of our trip were completely disrupted. Customer service was non-existent, and the whole experience felt incredibly unfair and misleading. I would strongly recommend booking with a more reputable operator.
this was one of the best trips i have ever had
Trip was so amazing!! I really enjoyed looking at place that's very important in Poland's history. I thinm that the trip was so cheap. I was there for a week. I would like to do it again. This trip was amazing, but the atmosphere in Aushwitz terrifying and fascinating at the same time. I like to listen about history and im interested in worl wars. The number of people was okay, I didn't feel crowded. I think everyone should see that place but not in the age of 6 or 7. I liked the staff. My husband wanted me to go with my friend there and im so grateful for this.
This trip it was amazing! I highly recommend it!
Really good tour, everything was well organized and on time. And both places were very impressive. Worth it.
To start, the google calendar invite sent by Viator says this experience begins at 9 am. The day before the tour, I received a message telling me to arrive at a bus stop at 5:30 am. Also the day before my tour, I was informed that the Salt Mine portion of the tour had been cancelled and we would be refunded 25%. I had purchased a lunch option and confirmed my selection over messaging the day before the tour, then when lunch was handed out the very next day, my option was not available. It is unclear whether it was given to someone else or if it was never really an option to start with, but regardless resulted in my being unable to eat the meal I paid for and ordered. I have nothing but great things to say about guides Ziggy and Karina, they were absolutely lovely. They were both very knowledgeable, kind, and answered questions well. This review should not reflect them at all. Had it not been for them, I would have rated lower. I am less than impressed with the company that organized and scheduled the tour. From scheduling fumbles to meal errors, this tour was a mess.
We almost didn’t show up after reading some recent reviews, but our experience was extremely positive. We did get a text message rescheduling our pick up from 6:30 to 9:50. The minibus arrived exactly on time and we were handed a proper ticket with our name before we even boarded. The guide, “Jack” was incredible. He gave factual information but more importantly conveyed the horrors of the place with real emotion and respect. My 16 year old who’s perpetually bored was enthralled. He also communicated clearly about logistics and the day’s schedule. Note our tour was just Auschwitz-Birkenau without the salt mines, which I think was perfect. I imagine adding the salt mine be an exhausting day. Also tip that Birkenou is in the full sun for an hour; bring a hat. The lunchbox was also good.
We arrived late on sunday not realy prepared i.e without tickets. We contacted Travelmine and they solved tours to both Mine and Auswitch by Monday. The cars arrived on time for both tours and the guides where great.
I would have loved to write a review about this tour, but that would’ve only been possible if we actually got picked up. Between Getyourguide and Cracow Tours and transfers the customer service is non-existent. They updated the time of the bus pick up but all the emails sent had the original time except for 1 little tiny line in the sea of emails with the title of the email still stating the original time. The last email sent at 11:43pm the evening before the tour still had the original time and not the updated time. Between the 2 platforms neither took responsibility and when we contacted customer service we were offered no alternatives, had the phone put down on us and were just given some poor excuse of “we tried to contact you”. I’ve been on a fair number of tours and this has by far been the most disappointing in terms of customer service.
