I booked this trip after previous reviews. I wanted to go to the mountains but wasn't bothered by the thermal baths really, but it came as a package at a good price and a decent departure time so I booked. Peter the driver/guide was well presented, polite and a confident driver. Just 5 of us in a very clean comfortable Mercedes van. First stop the wooden church. Very pretty, worth 15 minutes. Second stop Zakopane. Wow! Super busy and touristy!! Not quite what I expected to be honest, but I'm glad I saw the mountains in winter. And the funicular was fun up and down. Just close your eyes to the tourist stalls all selling the same things at inflated prices. I've been spoilt by skiing in the French Alps 🙄 Zakopane Town was pretty, lots of music and busy again. I walked to the park for some space and took a picnic bought in the local bakery. Stop 3 Thermal baths. As I said, it's not my thing but it was clean, well organised BIG! And VERY BUSY!! I hired a towel for 10 PLN, didn't bother with flip-flops, put everything in the locker to be safe. The views of the mountains from the outside pools were stunning. Stayed in for an hour then chilled in the sun at the front of the building with a coffee. Overall I am glad I did the trip, but I wouldn't repeat it. It was a personal thing that I just don't like crowds. But Mr Shuttle /Peter was excellent. Couldn't fault communication both before and throughout the day via WhatsApp. I'd use them again.
Excellent tour. We loved Zacopane and thermal spa was amazing. The driver was very good and he took as early in Zacopane before the crowds. I strongly recommend
Dear Maria, Your feedback means a lot to us! We're delighted you enjoyed the tour and appreciate your trust in MrShuttle.
Fantastic service again. Pick up on time and messaged day before and morning of pick up. Loved the trip and ending on thermal baths was just tremendous. Friendly driver and clean and comfy transport. Will definitely use again
Dear, Thank you so much for your feedback! It makes our day hearing about how much our customers enjoyed our service. We have passed your review to our team and look forward to seeing you again. Zuzanna MrShuttle
I really enjoyed this day trip. It was well organised and beautiful to see different parts of Poland. The mountains are beautiful. The spa was lovely, you can take your own towels or hire them there. I have two small points that I wish I’d known before: 1. The journey to and from Zakopane is quite long (2 hours ish) and the roads are quite bumpy/windy, plus we didn’t have the opportunity to stop for the toilet. I’d have like a bathroom break and also I get a bit car sick when the roads are like that so I’d have taken a tablet beforehand. 2. We were told by our guide at the spa that you had to pay if you wanted to use the Sauna as well as the pools. This isn’t actually true and we nearly ended up paying when we wouldn’t have had to. If you go to the baths on the lower ground there are free saunas to use there. Other than that all was great, our guide was lovely, and the trip was well worth it.
Have used Mr Shuttle twice this week and have to say it's great service, updated collection times the night before, collected on time, great tours which cut out all the queuing, tody we had Mark (I believe this was his name) our guide to Zakopane, he is a complete asset to Mr Shuttle Tours, such a knowledgeable guide who chatted with us all from start to finish even answering questions that were not associated with the tour, highly recommended going above and beyond.
Dear Traveller, Thank you for your kind words! We’re so happy you had a great experience and found the tour valuable. Your feedback means a lot to us! Gabriela from MrShuttle
We had the pleasure of having Piotr as our driver with Mr Shuttle, and we honestly couldn't have asked for better. His driving skills were 10/10 – calm, confident, and safe throughout. He was also incredibly punctual, always arriving right on time, which made everything so stress-free. The car was spotless, and you could tell he takes real pride in keeping it that way. When we (accidentally!) dropped some food on the floor, he was extremely reasonable and understanding – a real gentleman. On top of that, Piotr went above and beyond by giving us helpful recommendations for places to visit beyond our planned route. He clearly knows the area well and genuinely wants travellers to enjoy their stay. Highly recommend Mr Shuttle – and especially Piotr if you can request him!
When booking, for the Tuesday, the estimated pick up was 8:30/9am. The night before we were told 7am which meant we were unable to have breakfast as hotel breakfast wasn’t opened. We were driven to Gubalowka hill around 1.5 hours way and told by the tour guide we had 3 hours there. Everything was closed. I messaged Mr shuttle as we couldn’t buy as much as a drink on the hill. They advised this isn’t the case and everything was opened (I was there, it wasn’t) finally, things began to open 2 hour later! Our tour guide then messaged to say it was 1.5 hours on the hill and to come back down using the funicular we arrived it. Only, he hadn’t given us the return tickets. Luckily he managed to send them via what’s app. When we arrived back down the tour guide was annoyed that the other group of 4 we travelled with, were not with us. As he hadn’t given them the tickets either, which meant he had to call the office to obtain their number as they hadn’t taken his mobile - we were two seperate parties. He then walked us across to the town which again was mostly closed and told us to come back after another 1.5 hours. We wandered around aimlessly ourselves trying to find somewhere to eat. Eventually we did. It was very unorganised, nothing was explained. The tour guide then explained it was his first time doing that trip but it made our experience bad and he should have been briefed by Mr shuttle. All that being said the thermal baths was just ok, not what I expected. A massive leisure centre most floors are busy and aimed for kids. The minus 1 level was great for adults though, we loved it there. Very relaxing.
Great time with our guide!! It was just me and my friends so it was even better, lots of talking about Poland. We went to Zakopane, did the funecular which gave a great view of the mountains! We strolled through the main streets and tried the smoked grilled cheese (serki) which was excellent. We then drove to some thermal pools and were able to stay a bit longer as guide was flexible. Pools were not crowded and very relaxing, there is a restaurant inside which is excellent!
Dear Traveller, This review made our day! We put customer experience and satisfaction as our priority, and your review reaffirms the hard work we put in every day. Hope to see you again soon! Gabriela MrShuttle
My wife and I were in krakow from 13/5/24 until 17/5/24 , booked 2 airport transfers and 3 tours all with Mrshuttle . The 3 drivers for our tours all turned up at our hotel (Pod Wawelem) when they were supposed to and on time in vehicles that were spotlessly clean. Big thank you to Olaf (saltmines), Peter (Zakapone) and apologies to the driver who took us to Auschwitz (forgot his name but he was excellent and professional also). We paid for 3 packed lunches which were excellent also and well worth it. My wife and I really enjoyed our first trip to Krakow, big thank you to all our drivers and Mrshuttle.
Only trip with Mr shuttle that really disappointed. The areas we visited were amazingly beautiful and picturesque but the ski lift was closed, visit to zakopane was extremely short and rushed. Would love to repeat trip in a hire car to have more time
