Pick up locations were stressful
It was lovely day spent with Mikki. He is such a great guide.
Tour guid Leifur was very knowledgeable to inform all history of Iceland. I wish we stopped by a bit more longer like not one hour or 45 min but 1.5 instead. But over all great experience and worth of money!
Our guide Albert was knowledgeable and kept the tour enjoyable with history and facts as our bus guided us through the beautiful countryside. Thomas was a safe driver. We took the tour as a family of six, with four teens, and everyone enjoyed the sights. I felt like we had long enough at each location to see the main attractions. A great value, we felt, and an easy way to see some of the unique beauty of Iceland if you only have a day to take a tour.
Quite a nice tour through some highlights of Iceland’s natural beauty, as well as the important historic site of the Allþingi. Albert had some good anecdotes about various places we drove past on the way. The time at each stop was shorter than some might like, but this is a tour that is designed to be done quickly and connect to other tours later in the day, so this is understandable. A worthwhile addition to your trip if you’re only going to be in the country for a short time.

The Golden Circle tour that we took today on Monday, August 10, 2026, was wonderful and was the best tour that we have had in Iceland this week. Our tour guide, Mikki (Michael), and our driver, Anna, were superb. Mikki provided excellent descriptions of the split of the tectonic plates, the geysers, and Gullfoss. We were fortunate to see a rainbow crossing Gullfoss on this clear, sunny day. The cost of this tour for my wife and me was significantly less than the price quoted by our cruise line. Also, our tour bus driver has dropped us off at our hotel.
