Museo de aguas termales de Beitou (cerrado los lunes) Duración: ~ 1 horas Beitou Hot Spring Museum : Comience el día con una visita a este sitio histórico, que solía ser una casa de baños pública durante el período colonial Japonés. Valle Termal : (Cerrado los lunes) También conocido como "Valle del Infierno," esta fuente termal natural es una de las fuentes de las aguas termales de Beitou. Admira el vapor que sale del agua verde esmeralda, creando una atmósfera única y mística.
Parque Nacional Yangmingshan (pradera Qingtiangang, sendero Lengshuikeng, Xiaoyoukeng) Duración: ~3,5 horas El Parque Nacional Yangmingshan está situado al norte de Beitou. Durante la ocupación japonesa de Taiwán, Yangmingshan se llamaba Caoshan (montaña de hierba) porque estaba cubierta de hierba y rara vez era visitada. Después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, el gobierno del KMT rebautizó la montaña como Yangmingshan y construyó un parque aquí. El Parque Nacional Yangmingshan es el único parque de Taiwán que tiene geografía volcánica y aguas termales. Está junto a la montaña Shamao y la montaña Qixing, con la montaña Datun a la derecha y la montaña Guanyin al frente.
Pradera de Qingtiangang: un lugar pintoresco conocido por sus amplias llanuras cubiertas de hierba y su ganado pastando. Perfecto para un paseo tranquilo con impresionantes vistas de las montañas.
Sendero Lengshuikeng: un sendero relativamente fácil que atraviesa áreas geotérmicas con arroyos de aguas termales. Es conocido por sus aguas termales más frías.
Xiaoyoukeng: esta zona muestra la actividad volcánica en Yangmingshan. Encontrarás fumarolas (válvulas de vapor), cristales de azufre y ollas de barro hirviendo.

Fisherman’s Wharf: conocido por sus pintorescas vistas del atardecer, el muelle alberga el Puente de los Enamorados, un puente colgante blanco que se ilumina maravillosamente por la noche.

This was such a fantastic day trip where we really got to enjoy some of Taiwan’s nature. The highlight was the circular trail at Yangmingshan Grassland. The thermal valley and Tamsui were also lovely. All in all a great day and thanks to our driver Tony, he was excellent.

We enjoyed the tour very much as we got to see natural wonders of Taiwan. We had a 13 year old in our group and he also appreciated the tour. Kidd was our driver and he was very helpful and happy to tell us about the sites, even if at times we had to use a translator app due to his limited English. Just the same, we truly enjoyed our day tour with him!

Overall it was an amazing tour! The beauty of Taiwan’s countryside was just breathtaking. Kidd was our guide. He was very friendly and helpful to us, though for long conversations, we had to use (Google?) translator. But nevertheless, we really had one great day enjoyinh Taiwan’s nature places.

Our private driver Charlie was very flexible and polite. He spoke limited English and all communication was via translation apps (so not very much explanation of the locations or history, and more like hiring a private driver). He was punctual, very polite and accommodating and an extremely safe driver. Overall a good experience.
