Yehliu es un cabo en la costa norte de Taiwán mejor conocido por el Geoparque Yehliu, donde la erosión del mar ha dado forma a rocas con forma de panal y hongo como las icónicas Cabeza de la Reina y Cabeza de Dragón. La zona es mayoritariamente plana pero ofrece poca sombra, por lo que se recomienda protección solar durante el verano.
La cascada Shifen es la cascada más famosa de Taiwán, alimentada por el río Keelung, y mide unos 20 metros (66 pies) de alto y 40 metros (131 pies) de ancho. Para llegar a la plataforma de observación se necesita una caminata de aproximadamente 30 minutos, parcialmente sombreada y cruzando un puente colgante.
Esta antigua calle está justo al lado de la estación Shifen en el área de Pingxi, donde una línea ferroviaria activa pasa directamente por el mercado. Los visitantes lanzan linternas voladoras sobre las vías y se detienen cada vez que pasa un tren.

Everything from start to finish is covered, very easy to navigate and able to see a bit more of Taiwan. Jackson was a great guide, especially with the wet weather, and we still manged to see and do eveything our group was interested in. Great day!

It was our first time going to most of the places on the itinerary. Jackson was a superb host and guide. It’s a great ‘finishing’ trip during our time in Taiwan as well. We started the trip at 1 pm because we wanted to be able to see Jiufen in the evening. Even though it’s in the peak of summer, the weather cooperated beautifully. It rained in the morning before we started our trip and by the time we got to Yeliu, it was overcast with the sun peaking through here and there. It was also breezy, and the same goes for the rest of the day. Jackson showed us many of the best spots to take photos and also took photos and videos of us. We made a stop to get some bubble teas along the way. 🧋He also took us to a great spot for dinner up in Jiufen. He’s knowledgeable, friendly, and really cater to what we wanted. We would definitely use him again when we return to Taiwan. Thank you, Jackson! 🙏
Hicks Wang was such a great guide and really made our day special. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to talk to, and his English was excellent. He also came prepared with umbrellas and water, which was really thoughtful and made things much more comfortable for us. He even went the extra mile and treated my kids to boba tea and some local sweets, which they absolutely loved!! We had such a fun and memorable day with Hicks and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great guide. Thank you, Hicks, for making our day so enjoyable and memorable!
