Comenzamos a prepararnos para el recorrido, ofrecemos ropa para la lluvia y monos de invierno, y luego encontramos el caballo perfecto para usted.

Nuestro increíble más popular! ¡Montamos en grupos pequeños y ofrecemos un servicio personal y amable! Este recorrido es de unos 5-7 km, dependiendo de la experiencia de los corredores. Es adecuado para principiantes y para aquellos con más experiencia, ya que podemos elegir entre rutas en el área. Conduciremos por un sendero hermoso y suave a lo largo de Redhills o, para un grupo de jinetes más experimentados, conduciremos por Rauðarvatn. En ambas rutas, disfrutará de senderos naturales y un escenario maravilloso para montar a caballo, donde conocerá al simpático caballo islandés. La duración total del recorrido es de 2,5 horas, 1,5-2 horas de conducción. para principiantes y pilotos experimentados. NOTA: Solo tenemos recogida en los hoteles, la casa de huéspedes y la terminal de autobuses BSI de reykjavik.

The guides were outstanding! No matter if you are an experienced rider or a beginner, these amazing women have you covered. The horses were so much fun and very well take care of. You can tell how dedicated the guides are to their jobs. I cannot recommend this tour enough! I wish I could go back tomorrow 😀
When in Reykjavík, if you like, or what to try horseback riding, go with the Lava Horse Riding tour. The horses are very gentle, easy to ride. The guides are excellent, they match your experience, or lack of, with the horse, and are with you the whole way. The trail is very easy. You’ll find a experience you will enjoy.

This tour is perfect from start to finish. We enjoyed every moment of the tour. Pickup was punctual, and the guide made the bus ride to the stables interesting with facts along the way. The separated riders based on experience level, and split the group in two. We were in the experienced group and got to Tolt our horses at least 8 different times. The ride was 1.5 hours long, and the horses were fantastic. The scenery was amazing as well. They provide helmets and rain gear (we did not need rain gear on our visit). They used our phones at a stop to take pictures of us on our horses which I really appreciated.
10/10 would recommend this experience! The guides were fantastic, the horses were gorgeous, and the scenery was brilliant. My aunt, my cousin and I truly enjoyed this adventure. PS - the available coffee, hot chocolate & tea at the end = perfect!

A little more instruction for beginners would have been a benefit. It was a very positive experience overall but it could have gone sour easily. Very happy we found your stables.
Seamless experience from pickup to drop off. Super friendly, attentive, and fun staff. Beautiful, well behaved horses, lovely scenery, and the opportunity to split our group to beginners and advanced groups. Loved having an opportunity to experience the tolt gait. Totally worth it, and a great way to spend a few hours in Iceland.
Had a fun adventure with Red Lava Riding. From pickup, equipment distribution and “horse matching”, the women very efficient and got us out on the trail quite quickly. They were very patient with the first-time riders in the group. After a photo op in the lava field, the group split with more advanced riders going ahead, to experience the Tolt gait only Icelandic horses can do…and the less adventurous riders continued to walk thru the eerie landscape. The whole trip was very well handled and a great experience.
It was a lot of fun! I would go back to do it again or maybe a even longer ride. Stjarna was the best sassy little horse!
