Su guía lo recogerá a las 9:00 a.m. de su hotel, debido a la espléndida vista desde el mirador de "Cruz Loma" (4.100 m.- 13.451 pies) en el volcán Pichincha.
Para subir se tomará un teleférico que toma de 10 a 15 minutos por trayecto, dependiendo de las condiciones atmosféricas. Se parte de una altitud de 3.045 metros sobre el nivel del mar (9.990 pies), hasta 4.100 metros en la parte superior (13.451 pies). Disfrutarás de una vista inolvidable de Quito, y si el clima ayuda, los increíbles volcanes nevados: Cotopaxi (5.898 m), Antisana (5.753 m) y Cayambe (5.790 m).
Por la tarde visitará la ciudad colonial de Quito, que es el primer sitio del Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad (UNESCO 1978). Antes de comenzar la caminata, puede hacer una pequeña pausa para tomar una copa o un pequeño almuerzo; Si es necesario, su guía turístico experimentado puede brindarle diferentes recomendaciones y opciones valiosas.
Durante su caminata, pasará por la Plaza de la Independencia, escenario de muchas batallas dramáticas de revolución en la historia de la República del Ecuador. Tendrá la oportunidad de visitar el Palacio Presidencial, la Catedral, el Palacio Arzobispal, la Iglesia de la Compañía Secreta de Jesús de Quito, cumbre del estilo barroco latinoamericano
el encantador barrio de "La Ronda", y la Iglesia y Convento de San Francisco, construido en 1540.
Luego tendrás la oportunidad de conducir cuesta arriba, para visitar la cima de "El Panecillo", donde se encuentra la Virgen María de Quito, ¡y es considerada la estatua de aluminio más alta del mundo! Luego terminarás esta fantástica y memorable excursión aproximadamente a las 3 :00 p.m.

This tour was a great way to see the highlights of Quito in a half day. Guide Ximena is a Quito native and knew all the interesting places to go, and when to get there to avoid crowds. The tour started and ended at the front door of my hotel, so this was a no-hassle way to tour Quito.

We loved our guide Diana and our driver Marcelo was excellent. For our first full day in Quito, we booked this Ecuador’s Best Tour of the city. We live at sea level in Seattle and wanted to take it easy due to Quito’s high elevation. We were also concerned about safety in an unfamiliar city after a couple of days of exhausting travel. So we appreciated the guide and driver very much. We enjoyed every stop on our tour. Diana walked with us every step of the way, patiently answered all of our questions and helped us understand the culture of Ecuador. Later, after we got back from the Galapagos, we learned that some of the group members had gone exploring on their own and were robbed of expensive items in Old Quito, so I was especially appreciative of the excellent guidance of Diana and Marcelo. I never felt unsafe, and Quito has a better police presence than Seattle, including touristic police, but as a stranger in a new city, we can be at a disadvantage on our own, even though we use money belts and phone lanyards when traveling.

It was a great view, but the trail,after the cable car was quite challenging to make it to the top of the mountainside which is at over 9,000 feet

Prompt hotel pick up with itinerary including teleferico and El Panecillo providing value to what is otherwise a short City centre walking tour. Good explanations about the city and its development. Can be cool at the top of the cable car ride. Bring your own water - none was offered.
