Un tour privado con un toque local y personal. Te llevaremos a dar un paseo por el antiguo Reykjavík, visitando los puntos destacados y emblemáticos de la ciudad y introduciéndote en la cultura, la historia, las costumbres y la gente, además de probar la comida tradicional. Visitaremos un restaurante tradicional escondido donde probarás la comida y aprenderás sobre la cultura gastronómica en Islandia, que ha cambiado drásticamente durante el último siglo. También probarás algunos pasteles tradicionales y deliciosos helados.

Iglesia Hallgrímskirkja, casa de gobierno, Parlamento Nacional Alþingi, Ayuntamiento de Reykjavík De camino por la ciudad de Reykjavík visitaremos un antiguo restaurante familiar muy prestigioso donde degustarás comida tradicional, p. salmón, arenque, eglefino y el famoso cordero criado en libertad del que estamos tan orgullosos. Nos detendremos en la cafetería más antigua de la ciudad, donde podrá probar algunos pasteles islandeses y una taza de bebida caliente. Visitaremos una fantástica heladería. En el camino pasaremos por el famoso puesto de perritos calientes, que sirve los mejores perritos calientes de la ciudad desde hace más de 60 años. Lo llaman "Bæjarins Bestu", que significa "El mejor de la ciudad". El recorrido finalizará en el antiguo puerto.

Helga did a great job narrating and leading the private tour. In addition to walking throughout the center of Reykjavík, we stopped in four different eating establishments for a taste of the area. Icelandic food was front and center at each stop. Nobody goes away hungry. All together we walked maybe 1.5 miles. This is a very easy tour so long as you have normal mobility.

This tour is great! Not only did we learn history we stopped and sampled tastes of the region. I wimped out on the fermented shark but tried all the other samples. Loved hearing about Margaret’s favorites and her memories of growing up in Iceland. My favorite stop, after walking in a cold rain, was the coffee shop and a warm latte. Delightful! Great tour!

Fun and informative food tour and city walk in Reykjavik in small friendly group with local guide.. Tour involved a lot of local food so don't overdo breakfast beforehand. Would definitely recommend when visiting Reykjavik.
