Playa Cristal es una de las maravillas naturales de Santa Marta, siendo una pequeña bahía que se encuentra en el Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona, bañada por un hermoso mar cristalino que en momentos da una combinación mágica de colores dignas de ser observadas y galardonadas como una de las mejores playas en toda América. Por otro lado, sus aguas tranquilas con un clima fresco, hacen de éste un lugar un espacio de disfrute y relajación. Su nombre hace alusión por la pureza de sus aguas; es una de las playas más hermosas dentro del Parque Tayrona, ideal para snorkeling y buceo pues permite observar toda la riqueza marina que la compone.

Itinerario
• Iniciamos nuestro tour a las 05:00am saliendo de la ciudad de Santa Marta en un vehículo terrestre por 1hr y 20mins hasta la entrada del PNN Tayrona, Neguanje.
• Al llegar a la taquilla veremos un corto video institucional informativo con las recomendaciones para el cuidado del parque. • Finalizado el video institucional seguiremos en el vehículo con dirección a Playa 7 Olas. • En el icónico mirador de 7 Olas haremos una parada para tomar fotos y apreciar el lugar, luego de lo cual continuaremos en el vehículo hasta la Playa Neguanje. • Al llegar a la Playa Neguanje abordaremos un bote con dirección a Playa Cristal en un trayecto de 10min.
• Al llegar a Playa Cristal tendremos tiempo libre para descansar, nadar y si lo desea acceder a los servicios que son ofrecidos en la playa como snorkeling o kayak (servicios no incluidos). • Aproximadamente entre las 2:30pm y 3:30pm emprendemos el regreso a Neguanje para abordar el vehículo con dirección a Santa Marta. • Llegamos a la ciudad de Santa Marta entre las 4:00pm y 4:30pm para finalizar el tour.

Beach with crystal clear waters, quiet, no street vendors, many restaurants with good food at affordable prices, good experience with the guides, viewpoint stop for photos, do not recommend snorkeling, little fauna, different corals and some fish, excellent communication with guides, almost on time instead of pickup.
Late departure of the excursion, not nice guide, very old bus. The beach is quite commonplace, just armchairs, the restaurants are all the same.the toilets are terrible

Disappointing experience. The tour lasts 11 hours overall, but the actual time you spend at the beach is about 2.5 hours. The rest of the time is wasted in transportation and various waits. We strongly advise against being persuaded to pay a surcharge to visit the second beach. Time is so short that it is best to enjoy only Playa Cristal.

Il tempo reale di permanenza a Playa Cristal non è di 2,5 ore, come menzioni, ma di circa 6 ore in spiaggia, come indicato nella descrizione del tour. La durata complessiva di 11 ore include infatti tutta la logistica: il pick-up negli hotel, i trasferimenti, l’ingresso al Parco Tayrona e le visite ad altri punti di interesse come il mirador di Siete Olas, Neguanje e altri luoghi che fanno parte dell’esperienza. Per questo riteniamo importante precisare che le informazioni riportate nella tua recensione non rispecchiano la realtà dell’itinerario. The tour complies with the itinerary, it must be borne in mind that Peruvians and Ecuadorians can enter Tayrona Park with the national fare and they do not say that in the tour, I had to tell them what they did not refuse, but it is good to inform it to avoid suspicion because it is the guides who pay all the tickets. I requested to pay by card, the advance was made by a link all right, but the balance wanted to collect me at all times with additional commission, I had to give all my cash to avoid more problems. Additionally I requested the tour tickets, apparently they do not give it because the guide told me that the tickets were the wristbands (haha) well, that is it. I'm still waiting for a ballot response, no response.
If you are looking for a tour that offers you a caribean beach you should book this tour. However, if you except like me to get a ton of information about the Park, Indigenous, Plants and Animals than you should definitely book a different tour. The beach/ocean is nice though but not what expected and hoped for.
Visiting Tayrona National Park was easily one of the best moments of my trip to Colombia. The beaches here are absolutely stunning: think golden sands, crystal clear waters and lush green mountains as a backdrop. It was like entering a tropical paradise. Cabo San Juan, in particular, is the most popular beach, and for good reason. It is a small walk to get there (about 2 hours from the main entrance), but the trip is worth every step. The trail takes you through dense forests with occasional glimpses of the ocean, and the sound of birds and nature around you makes it an experience in itself.
