Nueva Orleans Deliciosas Donuts & Beignets : Un dulce tour a pie

Recientemente votado uno de los mejores tours gastronómicos de TripAdvisor en los EE.UU. La mayoría de la gente está familiarizada con Bourbon Street y el Barrio Francés, pero mucha gente no conoce Magazine Street, donde se lleva a cabo nuestro recorrido y tiene una rica historia en torno a la comida, el arte, la cultura y la vida nocturna. Visitaremos 4 tiendas diferentes, probando donuts y beignets a lo largo del camino. Comenzando con los tradicionales beignets con azúcar en polvo y un café en la mano, aprenderemos sobre los barrios ricos en historia en lo que se refiere a Nueva Orleans. En nuestra segunda parada, lo seguiremos con donuts artesanales en una de las mejores tiendas de donuts de Nueva Orleans. Después de un corto paseo, tendremos unos beignets súper interesantes con varios ingredientes y salsas, algo que no se parece a nada que hayas probado antes. Y finalmente, terminaremos en nuestra última parada y tendremos nuestra última sorpresa en el tour. Seguramente será una aventura deliciosa y casual que seguro disfrutarás. Espero verte pronto!

Itinerario
Nuestro recorrido comienza en el vecindario Garden District en PJ's Coffee, una de las cafeterías más lindas de Nueva Orleans. Aquí probaremos algunos de sus increíbles buñuelos, que se muestran arriba. Después de eso, daremos un paseo tranquilo por Magazine Street. Luego continuaremos nuestro camino hacia District Donuts, una de las mejores tiendas de donas en Nueva Orleans. Después de una breve caminata, visitaremos nuestras paradas 3 y 4 para disfrutar de unos buñuelos increíbles. En cada lugar, probaremos diferentes tipos, sabores y estilos de donas y buñuelos, ¡así que venga con hambre! Solo un FYI: el recorrido no comienza y termina en el mismo lugar.

The tour was a nice change of pace. The doughnuts and beignets at the various places were great, and walking through the garden district was informative.

I have family in town and my co-worker suggested we try the donut tour. The starting location was easy to find, and the beignets were amazing. Emily was our guide, she was chatting it up with the neighbors and sharing knowledge of the area. She pointed out history as well as shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend this tour for families. There were so many options even the pickiest eaters were pleased.

Bobbie and Emily were our tour guides and they were super enthusiastic! The donuts were delicious and I loved hearing about the history of beignets and the area. We got to sit and enjoy the donuts at each stop so we weren't standing all the time which was also appreciated. 10/10 would do again!

Emily is awesome!! We embarked on this tour our first morning in NOLA. Talk about starting our trip off amazing! She is inclusive, articulate, kind, and hilarious. It’s obvious she takes great pride in her city, and I have a feeling we only scratched the surface of her wealth of knowledge. She is the best kind of local, from storytelling to pointing out architecture and great places to eat and shop. She welcomed questions, and provided great descriptions of the treats. The tour is very well paced, we never felt rushed. We couldn’t have started our trip with a better experience.
