Montaña de Colores, también conocida como Vinicunca o Montaña Arco Iris, es un impresionante paisaje natural en los Andes peruanos, famoso por sus capas de colores vibrantes, creados por minerales y sedimentos. Un destino único que ofrece vistas espectaculares y una experiencia inolvidable.

Itinerario
Comienza con el recojo de los hoteles ubicados cerca del centro histórico del Cusco, entre las 4 : 00 - 5 : 00 a.m., viajaremos aproximadamente 2 horas al sur del Cusco. La ciudad de Cusipata será nuestra primera parada donde tendrá un delicioso desayuno y tiempo para usar los baños. Trekking. Luego continuaremos por el camino hasta el estacionamiento por unos 45 minutos hasta llegar a la base, desde donde iniciaremos la caminata, nuestro guía nos dará las instrucciones necesarias para disfrutar del recorrido.
Después tendremos una caminata de aproximadamente 2 horas para llegar a la Montaña de los 7 Colores, al llegar tendremos la explicación del guía, tiempo suficiente para tomar fotos y recorrer gran parte del lugar.
Continuando con el recorrido, caminaremos por el Valle Rojo durante aproximadamente 30 min. (Opcional : si el pasajero lo desea, puede dirigirse por su cuenta a un mirador que tiene una vista espectacular de una cadena de montañas de colores).
Después de la visita guiada regresaremos al vehículo, luego regresaremos a nuestra primera parada en Cusipata donde tendremos un almuerzo buffet y luego regresaremos a la ciudad del Cusco (hora aproximada de llegada 17 : 30 p.m.).

When we finally got to rainbow mountain we’re told that you can’t even see it do to snow. An hour later the guide came back to us and said the snow is melting and we could ride the horses to get there quicker. We rode the horses mine got spooked and threw me. The actual guide was very nice tried to help clean me off and stuff and helped me back on the horses. I did not make it up there as the pain had started to kick in. When we got back to the bottom I still had to pay the full price for the horse. The guide did offer me ibuprofen because at this point I was having a hard time to even walk. He also suggested to go to a clinic. I am a little upset as when you were slipping and sliding to get to the top to see rainbow mountain there were hardly any colors (my husband made the climb up)
