Descripción
Minca es un pequeño pueblo situado en las estribaciones de la sierra nevada de santa marta a 700m.s.n.m. poblado de productores de café, cacao y de miel. Ubicado en unos de los ambientes o hábitat más ricos de Colombia. Cuenta con varios ríos que recorren todo su territorio, lleno de cascadas y aguas frías bajando de la sierra, por eso los invitamos a disfrutar de unos paisajes únicos en un lugar encantador.
Opciones de la excursión
Itinerario
• Iniciaremos el recorrido desde la ciudad de Santa Marta donde tomaremos una vía que en 45min nos conducirá hasta el pueblo de Minca.
• Llegando a Minca haremos la presentación del guía y una breve introducción de lo que realizaremos durante el recorrido, ya que el guía que nos acompañará será un guía local de la comunidad. • Comenzaremos con una caminata por un sendero ecológico de aproximadamente 2hrs o 2:30hrs, durante el cual podremos visitar cascadas, piscinas y paisajes naturales. • Llegaremos a una finca cafetera donde conoceremos el proceso del café y sus principales aspectos. • Finalizaremos nuestra caminata al llegar a una casa hecha 100% en bambú donde tendremos el almuerzo tipo gourmet. • Posterior a ello el guía brindará una charla explicativa sobre el cacao, su proceso y derivados. • Culminamos nuestro tour con el regreso al pueblo de Minca donde abordaremos nuestro vehículo de regreso a la ciudad de Santa Marta a la cual llegaremos entre las 5:00pm y las 5:30pm.

While rainy, the Tour absvthe group were greatm forest, waterfalls, animals, coffee, chocolate, a gretvgroup and guide Sadam was so friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. Highly recommended!
Reynauldo was an excellent guide. Knowledgeable, friendly, and local. There is a bit of walking so be prepared, but well worth the trek. Saw and learned about different wildlife. Also, the coffee was excellent and hands on with Cocoa was a bonus.
It was an very informative and exciting experience. Steep hiking. Definitely recommend long pants and a long-sleeved shirt and insect repellent. The tour had some amazing views. Ronaldo the guide was very knowledgeable and fluent also in English, he explained everything very well and answered all questions. I would definitely recommend this tour. The lunch was also very yummy 😋
It was amazing! Our guide Christiano was wonderful. He was so enthusiastic and so knowledgeable and also very funny. He also spoke 6 languages fluent which was very impressive
Very good day tour in the forests of Sierra Nevada - coffee, cocoa and the native flora and fauna, professionally and sympathetically explained.
The tour title mentions “waterfalls,” which suggests more than one. In reality, we were taken to just a single waterfall and given around 30 minutes of free time there. The rest of the tour felt heavily lecture-based - long explanations that took up a significant portion of the experience. We visited two locations: an organic coffee farm and a cocoa production farm. That was the extent of the itinerary, which made the overall title feel misleading. The guide came across as disengaged and not particularly enthusiastic. It felt more like he was going through the motions than genuinely enjoying what he was doing. This tour is not well suited for families. The children in our group were clearly bored during the lengthy talks, and even some adults seemed to struggle to stay engaged. Considering the price, the experience did not feel like good value for money.
Hotel pickup was on time, we had a day with quite a lot of experience who spoke in Spanish and English, the tour in the mine, knowledge of coffee and cocoa was a beautiful experience, so I highly recommend it.

Excellent tour and the guide was super passionate and interesting when speaking of coffee and ecology. The cacao/chocolate part of the tour was great too. :)
Great tour I recommend the guide was at the top little attention , excellent explanation, for nature protection and a healthier and greener tourism, I really do not regret the price of the service, of course there are cheaper , but less well also
