Itinerario
Su viaje comienza con un viaje desde su hotel en Cracovia. Se tarda aproximadamente 1 hora y 30 minutos en llegar a Auschwitz. Cuando llegue a Oswiecim, tómese un descanso para tomar un café o para mirar alrededor.
Cuando llegue a su destino, será recibido por su guía profesional y entrará en el sitio en Auschwitz I, caminando a través de la puerta del campamento que lleva la inscripción Arbeit Macht Frei (El trabajo lo libera). El complejo Auschwitz-Birkenau fue establecido en 1940 en lugar de los antiguos cuarteles del ejército polaco. Originalmente para mantener prisioneros políticos polacos prisioneros de guerra, y operó hasta su liberación mediante el avance de los soviets en 1945. Durante su operación, más de 1,5 millones de prisioneros judíos, polacos, Italianos y Franceses fueron traídos aquí , de los cuales 1,1 millones fueron exterminados como parte del genocidio más grande en la historia de la humanidad. La segunda parte del recorrido - Birkenau - es el campamento más grande de más de 40 campamentos y subcampamentos del complejo de Auschwitz. Originalmente planeado como un campo para prisioneros de guerra soviéticos, finalmente se convirtió en un campo de concentración para prisioneros de varias nacionalidades y un centro de exterminio de judíos. Su construcción comenzó en octubre de 1941 por manos de trabajadores esclavos, en un lugar de un pueblo desplazado y en su mayoría demolido de Brzezinka y a tres kilómetros de Auschwitz I. Se concibió para alojar a 125 000 prisioneros al mismo tiempo. Que estaba destinado desde el principio a morir de frío, hambre, enfermedades y agotamiento. Los presos son tratados como mano de obra redundante y fácilmente reemplazable. Verás condiciones de vida inimaginables; los prisioneros tienen que adaptarse. Verás la rampa del tren, donde el famoso Dr. Mengele supervisó el proceso de selección de los recién llegados, cuando una fracción de segundo decidió tu vida o muerte en cámaras de gas. Estaban a solo 200 metros.
Termine su recorrido y regrese a Cracovia al punto de partida, viendo varios puntos de referencia en el camino. Viaje de regreso al centro de Cracovia y termine con un regreso a la ciudad.

I booked this as a last-minute tour. That being said, what you get to see is extremely limited. If everything is already booked, then this would be your alternative. Other than that, I would recommend booking another tour because this one leaves you feeling like you showed up to see Auschwitz but got turned away at the door.
We had the best experience on our tour .. from start to finish .. our guide Damien was amazing .. he was full of knowledge and was passionate about the whole tour .. he didnt hesitate to respond to any questions in fact encouraged us to ask so we weren't left with any unanswered questions. I loved the fact it was headsets and you could just brows around the particular room we were in and still listen to all the information Damien was giving us .. the groups were kept 2 a small group and everything was really well organised. I wasnt the most knowledgeable about the the whole thing but came away full of knowledge and have since watched a few films since been back recommended by damien and it makes u watch the film with a whole different outlook once you have visited.. highly recommend if visiting krakow

Great atmosphere in a smaller group and excellent storytelling by our friendly guide Damian. Amazing experience. Our guide Damien was amazing and knowledgeable. Although we didn't get to go into most of the places, seeing it and learning about it was what I came for. And the group was small so it felt personal and friendly.

The tour was excellent and very well priced. Our tour guide Damian was an excellent tour guide and this something everyone should visit. Even tho the tour didn’t include inside Damian did an excellent job at explaining all the details to ensure we didn’t miss out on anything, the storytelling was great

Damian was very helpful, going above and beyond by helping to push my dad in his wheelchair as well as keeping great communication throughout the whole experience. It was a very emotional experience. Unfortunately, we were unable to enter the concentration camps and the museum due to a last-minute cancellation by another provider, but Damian, our guide, was incredibly good at explaining all the history from outside, giving us very personalized attention thanks to the small group size, and he saved us from missing Auschwitz during our visit to Kraków.
