Excellent day trip up to Kluane/Haines Junction with Juan as tour guide. Most enjoyable day out; Juan was very knowledgeable & easy to get on with. Tour was done at a nice easy pace with plenty of stops to take in scenery, history, etc. It was Juan who made the day special.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed your day exploring Kluane National Park and Haines Junction. It really is one of our favourite parts of the Yukon, and we're glad you had plenty of time to soak up the scenery along the way. We'll be sure to pass your kind words on to Juan. He has a genuine passion for the Yukon, and it's always wonderful to hear when guests enjoy not only the incredible landscapes, but also the stories and local knowledge he shares throughout the day. Thank you again for joining us, and we hope to welcome you back to the Yukon for another adventure in the future!
Our guide (Juan) was excellent; very knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about his job. The pace of the day was just right considering that it was a 10hr round trip. His narration was terrific and he stopped on occasion to facilitate observing of wildlife (wild horses).
We had a great tour with Juan who provided in-depth knowledge about the region it’s history, highlights and beautiful landscape. Won was extremely friendly, approachable and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and tour guide.
We thoroughly enjoyed every minute and our two guides, Juan & Juan, shared comprehensive information on the nature, wildlife and local practices, and our guides stopped several times for us to take photos of the beautiful scenery. The Da Ku Cultural Centre was our first stop and we enjoyed the exhibits and film. The Village Bakery in Haines Junction offered delicious sandwiches and cappaccino. At the Thecàl Dâhl Visitor Centre we saw dâhl sheep high up on the mountainside. At Kathleen Lake, Juan described how the glacier has been receding and we spent 15 minutes relishing in the view. On the way back we stopped to see 4 wild horses.
With our great guide Juan from Epic North including flight tour was absolutely breathtaking. This add on flight is a must see.
What a wonderful trip. It was a beautiful day in August. There is only one word. breathtaking There were only three of us and our guide Hubert was wonderful. He took us to extra stops. We went to several cultural centers. We saw 17 Dall sheep on the mountain. We stopped at a small Catholic Church made out of a quonset hut from the days of building the Alaska Highway. We ate lunch at a lovely Bakery in Haines Junction. Kluane Lake was a beautiful sight and we even took a short hike on a trail with beautiful views from the top. It was a trip I wiill never forget
