No te pierdas la más increíble recreación del Inti Raymi, el Festival del Sol, la celebración más importante del imperio Inca para celebrar el solsticio de invierno y la temporada de cosecha; el comienzo del Año Nuevo del Sol. Con esta entrada no harás colas el día del evento, que está a 20 minutos de la sede del evento.

El Inti Raymi o Fiesta del Sol el 24 de junio de cada año en Cusco, tiene 3 ceremonias. Tienes la opción de sentarte en las siguientes secciones: Naranja (Preferida), Roja (Estándar) o Verde (Económica) así como la opción de comprar solo las entradas o también el autobús turístico al evento principal. El Inti Raymi cuenta con 3 ceremonias, 2 de ellas están abiertas al público pero el evento principal está reservado para quienes tengan reserva de boleto. Y debido a que todas las calles de Cusco están cerradas en esta fecha, necesitarás transporte desde la plaza principal de Cusco hasta la fortaleza de Sacsayhuaman donde se lleva a cabo la recreación del Inti Raymi. Este tour incluye el transporte, box lunch, boleto de ingreso, el programa tanto en quechua como en inglés para que puedas seguir lo que se dice, un DVD de recuerdo, además nuestro guía del tour y personal acompañarán a cada bus para asistirte durante el transporte. .

Perfect seats. But it was difficult to get to the stage. It took us almost 2 hours from Plaza the Armas to the 3rth part on the stage. Maybe it is better to sell this trip only with pick-up!
I paid too much for this show. I already paid top dollar then was told a day before that the transport was not included even though i received email confirming I paid for my transport and lunch. So i had to pay additional $40... NOT impressed! We were transported to the site way too early. The start of the celebration was past 2pm but we were transported there about 11am. The Celebration/show itself was ok and the performers were great. But after watching the Corpus Christi celebrations and the many parade/festivals before the Inti Raymi, the Inti Raymi celebrations itself was an anti-climax. I would have just stayed at the Plaza de Armas to watch the Inti Raymi parade around the plaza.
The street market is great. Speciality is Ponchos of all shapes and sizes. From Ladies high quality to Men's coarse outdoor types. All are good value Lots of local silver jewellry and leather goods. Woven products such as wall hangings are also great value. Make it a day trip from Quito, stop at Cayambe to see the Equator line, view Mt Imbabura and the nearby waterfall. Arrive and lunch at the restaurant Inty Huasi, 4 course meal for $10. Then do the market. Leave by 4pm as the drive back to Quito can get choked with traffic. Look for tours on Viator to do this.
