Great day. My older teen and young adult kids loved this half-day tour. We chose the afternoon departure and it still felt like a full and tiring day (about 6 hours) despite being a half-day tour. We were picked up from our resort in a shared van but then changed to a private van heading to Tulum (the other travelers had a different set of experiences booked but we ended up on the same van home.) Our historical tour of Tulum ruins ended up being just our family with an excellent tour guide, Adrian, who excelled at keeping the information relevant and interesting to everyone. Don't be surprised to have another van/driver between experiences; the company arranges all the logistics and you don't have to keep track of where to go. It was all arranged seamlessly and efficiently. Our guide at the cenote, Xavier, was also very good and we all loved the experience. We got the "lunch" after the cenote swim, as described in the tour description, even though it wasn't lunchtime. It's more like a hearty snack and was a tasty treat at the end of the day before heading back to the resort. Everyone loved this excursion!

Beautiful tour. Swimming in the cenote is something you must have done. Guides were fine and very involved. Lots of detours when picking up and dropping off and some hidden costs here and there

If you really want to learn about the history of Tulum, don't choose this tour. Our guide told us a bit about it, showed us some pictures on his iPad to help explain, then told us we could look around on our own and to meet him in 30 minutes. All of the other tour guides were taking their groups from building to building providing thorough information about the ruins. However, the cenote experience with Julio was fantastic. The Mayan experience at the end of the excursion felt like a gimmicky way to try to get us to buy more stuff. We stopped to pay the ruins tax at a really odd stop off the highway where several people tried to sell us stuff. That got very annoying. So, the cenote itself is the only gem in this offering.

We did this tour as a family and it turned out to be one of our favorite days in Mexico. The Tulum ruins were absolutely beautiful, and the ocean views were even better than we expected. Our guide was friendly and shared lots of interesting facts without making it feel like a long history lesson. After that, swimming in the cenote was exactly what we needed. The water was so clear and refreshing, and we all had a great time. Lunch was really good too, and it was nice to sit down and relax before heading back. Everything was well organized and the whole day felt easy and enjoyable. We made some great family memories and would definitely recommend this tour.

The worst site ever. They steal money. They book you, make you pay but then the group that you go eoth charges you again!!! And they do NOT follow official fees of the parks.

My husband and I were extremely happy with our experience with this tour. While there are hundreds of tour options for the Yucatán on Viator, we were hoping to find one that wasn’t ALL DAY LONG. This one was perfect. The Tulum ruins were beautiful to see, especially with the views along the coast. The tour itself was very interesting. We enjoyed learning about the ruins, and it didn’t feel too long. The tour guide allowed us some time to wander around the ruins and take some photos. (Maybe like 20 more minutes would’ve been nice to have some more time to check out the gift shops outside of the park though!) After that, we went to the underground cenote. This was our first cenote experience so we didn’t know exactly what to expect or have anything to compare it to, but it was a pretty exceptional experience. The cenote they brought us to was completely underground essentially a cave. It was quite a unique experience. Others in our group who have done more cenotes said that this was the coolest one they had been to! After that, we were provided lunch - beans, rice, empanadas, and lemonade. It was delicious and really hit the spot after a day of being in the sun and then going for a swim! We loved it. After all of that, we were back to our hotel by 2pm and still had the rest of the day to relax. Our tour guide was Chino. He was super kind, had a nice sense of humor, and not once did he try to upsell us on anything! He made the whole experience very enjoyable. I’d highly recommend this tour if you’d like some a shorter day of some unique experiences!

The tour guide Sarah and the driver was excellent and very supportive. The lunch wasn't the best, but the Cenote experience was excellent. And the guide is helping a lot for people who can't swim. So altogether it's worth.

We did this tour with our family and honestly we all loved it. The Tulum ruins were beautiful, the ocean views are just wow, and our guide explained things in a way that was easy to follow, even for the kids. After walking in the heat, getting into the cenote felt sooo good, the water was fresh and we just stayed there enjoying it for a while. Lunch was simple but really tasty and came at the perfect time because we were already hungry by then. Everything felt smooth and not stressful, which you really appreciate when you’re with family. It was just one of those days where everyone is happy, laughing, and enjoying the moment. We’d definitely do it again for sure.

Angel our driver and cenote guide was great! He was very knowledgeable about the cenotes. The cenote water is cold at first but it's super beautiful inside. Stay with the guide in the water because they carry lights otherwise you won't be able to see anything due to it being super dark. Water was refreshing after a hot walk in the sun at the ruins. After the cenote we were brought to another spot about 10 min down the road for some lunch. Lunch was empanadas, rice, and bean soup. Tasted good. They served lemonade for free but you can pay for water, soda, or alcoholic beverages. Our guide for Tulum was Henry. He was super knowledgeable and informative about the ruins and Mayan culture. Be prepared for the hot sun. Bring water, sunscreen, hats, and umbrellas. You will be sweating and walking up and down stairs. The ruins are beautiful and so is the view when you get to the cliff. It overlooks the ocean and there's a nice breeze. Bring stainless steel cups since they do not allow plastic water bottles.

The tour of the ruins was phenomenal. Our guide was informative and entertaining. He then left us at the ruins with time to explore and take photos. Swimming in The Cenote was an incredible experience. The water felt cold upon entering, but the excitement soon dissipated the cold. Our guide Vincent was so fun and informative. Lunch was delicious. We had three empanadas, rice and bean soup. We drank the free lemonade, it was perfect! Our drivers and guides were friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining. I would highly recommend this tour.
